Right away he said because you had this over 13 years ago they will probably not give it to you. The actual rule is, as long as there are no really bad circumstances, after 10 years you can get ARD again. He wanted me to quickly pay him and said maybe he could get my ARD but probably not. I quickly did not believe him and basically hung up the phone. I contacted another attorney (MUCH BETTER) who waived my arraignment and got me approved for the ARD program within a day. She just sent the email over this morning. The only reason I am giving the "Law" offices of Basil and Beck even 2 stars is because he did reply before anyone else I contacted. Although, that was probably just so he could quickly try to fool a customer into paying him. So I respect the hustle even though you can tell his is just not professional. Also, the attorney that I did hire took $500 less and got done the job in record time. Do not hire this person, there are way more honest people out there. I do not normally write reviews but this person is just not trustworthy.

I made a mistake when I was young and did not want to have that over my head for the rest of my life. From the beginning, Basil took care of me and by the end, my record was fully expunged and it is like it never happened. When that happened my friend fired him and I hired a new attorney for him. Michael Quinn never refunded me the $3000 he took for me to as a retainer and did nothing but avoiding calls and call the jail and report a false claim against one of his clients. I did submit a complaint to the law board or whatever it's calledIn October but I've yet to hear anything nor have I got any of my $3000 back. I spoke with him a few times on behalf of my friend because he refused to see calls from the jail three-way and he could not have been more ignorant hanging up on me at least twice. I would never recommend this attorney to represent an ant.

My experience having hired (and then fired) Josh to draft a basic legal agreement. I was also…read moreplanning on having him draft a will for me and represent me for an injury case as well. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere on these matters. Josh seems like a great attorney (if he wants your work) and I'm not surprised by all the great reviews he has since he seems very likeable and generous with his time (at first). However, after the initial consultation Josh lacks the professionalism to tell his clients upfront when he is not interested in your work (or doesn't have time, I'm not sure which one it is). Instead of telling you he will ignore you for a week or more and hope you just go away. I would rather him just say upfront that he is not a good fit for the work than waste my time stringing me along. Seems I am not the only one with this experience either. Sort his firm's Google reviews by lowest first and you will see others complaining of the same thing. I suspect Josh did not want to do this work either or was too busy at that time (still not sure which one it is) So if it seems Josh is interested in your work and you continuously get timely responses from him after the initial consultation, then I would recommend him. But as soon as it seems he is no longer interested, run for the hills because he is just going to waste your time stringing you along for months. I kept trying to be empathetic and give him another chance thinking maybe this is atypical but seems like that is his MO if he doesn't want your work. Josh - just be honest with your clients upfront and don't jerk them around. Seems like you have a very successful practice and can be a great attorney.
