Laid out protection on the wood floors and carpets, brought in moving blankets and shrink wrap, took apart what needed to be taken apart, carefully moved everything to the trucks and to the new house, placed things where they needed to go and built back what was taken apart. Two other pay by the hour companies quoted us with less manpower and only one truck, had we used them the price would have been sky high and taken much more time.

Belongings were delivered 10 days late, took 3 days of PTO and flew to ATL 3 separate times for them to no show twice. It took them over a month to move a 1 bedroom apt. Each time, we were notified with less than 24 hours before that they were no longer able to move our belongings in on the agreed upon date resulting in expensive last min hotels. We were compensated $125/day late (not including the original or new delivery date) which was better than nothing, but given the cost of last min hotels, our PTO time, and paying for an empty apt for 10 days, we wasted about $3,000+. I understand things don't always go according to plan, but what separates excellent from poor customer service is clear and timely communication and providing a reasonable alternative, neither of which happened. The actual moving staff are overall very pleasant though, and we always ensure we tip well for their services. Beyond that, I suggest moving yourself.
