I want to bring awareness to give dogs time to adjust, my dog took about a full year to show his true personality and even then he has improved over the years. I adopted him 3 years ago and he has kept on growing in trusting people more and becoming more confident. Give dogs a chance only if you are willing to give them time, they are 10000% worth the investment of time and effort. Also, donate to your animal shelters when you can! Founded in 1965, Animal Humane is New Mexico's oldest animal welfare organization, and it shows in the care and dedication they provide.When I adopted her, the process was simple, efficient, and fairly priced. Lately, I've been thinking about how I can give back to my community, and the first place that came to mind was Animal Humane. I signed up to volunteer through their website, and they responded quickly--I was able to attend an orientation within two weeks. The orientation was incredibly informative, not just about the organization's mission, but also about the many ways volunteers can get involved. Since then, I've been volunteering in their on-site low-income pet food distribution center, and it's been amazing to see their mission in action. Unfortunately this isn't the only immediate VET care we have sought out after Canine Country Club boarding- Unfortunately it didn't dawn on us until now, that Canine Country Club boarding & Vet urgent care happened simultaneously- The first incident with CCC was a wound Bernie sustained to his right flank- Canine Country Club actually documented this incident- The wound was a circular area approx 4 cm diameter that exposed flesh- That also included a VET bill which isn't attached & happened under the care & grooming of Canine Country Club. We initially thought he had a cancerous lesion that needed to be biopsed- it took awhile but eventually healed-It could have been a grooming cut Or even a bite to his flank tWhatever the case- We look forward to resolving all these matters on behalf of our pet & other pets who rely on their owners to care for them safely, free from harm-

I got my cat a skylight suite that has vertical space, many perches and a tree trunk for him to climb. I visited first and was impressed by how clean the cattery was. No smells, and the kitties there all had clean litter boxes. There are options for play time in a large suite with toys and climbing tree, which I chose. My cat seemed content when I picked him up. He was on the top most perch, watching all the activity through the glass doors. No issues, and he was fine when we got home. Staff are friendly and diligent about keeping the place immaculate. I definitely will use them again when I need to board my kitty.

I mean what kind of urgent care doesn't accept walk ins? Come on Albuquerque vets get it together! Yikes! Anyways I was happy to get help right away as I was worried about my dog in the condition she was in. To be frank I was honestly avoiding this trip the previous couple days hoping the issue with my dog would resolve itself. Unfortunately by the 3rd day it appeared worse so I had to get my dog checked. Everything went great until they showed me the estimate for a diagnostic test. Oh boy that was a hard pill for me to swallow. Hesitantly I agreed to paying the bill. After about 3 hrs they were able to get a diagnosis and send me off with some stuff to help my dog. I am grateful to see my dog on the mend since my visit but the cost was hard to stomach. I honestly hope I don't need to bring her back in anytime soon cuz my wallet definitely can't bare the expense. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am thankful to see my dogs health improve since our visit and I appreciate the help they provided us. I wouldn't mind returning I just wish it was a little more affordable.

When I refused they tried to shame me. I had spent four hours there and was not satisfied with the BS treatment, just paid their big bill and left. Went to regular vet later that day and showed them their treatment, and test and the vet laughed and said this was not right. Gave my dog a comprehensive blood test and diagnosed the cause of her problems, put her on proper medication and she was fine in a couple of days. Stay away from this clip joint.
