My door was hit while I was at work a couple years ago and the coils were squeaking really bad but was not going up and down very well. Brian came out on Sunday and thought he could fix it but on further inspection a lot of the coils were split and said it could break at any time. After discussing it was best to replace the door. The door came in on Tuesday and he came out immediately to replace it knowing I felt uncomfortable leaving my car outside. You couldn't ask for a better company to do the work. His work is impeccable! I highly recommend them. Do not hesitate to call him. You'll be glad you did!

The company provided a detailed manual of instructions, attractions, and notes (Wi-Fi, lock box) prior to check-in. We were also surprised with some sweet treats and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The Black House on Beech is a small stunner called The Starling. Perhaps The Startling might be more apropos because it is a 2-story 3BR, 2BA house on a small footprint painted a pure matte black. Inside is modern and simple, decorated in black and white. They've considered every comfort -- there's a sauna, a hot tub, fire pit and hammock-- outside. Connect to the house Wi-Fi, watch a movie, play some tunes on the turntable, challenge your companions to a few board games--inside. Or walk a few minutes to Staymaker Restaurant at Journeyman Distillery, stock up on staples at Froehlich's Kitchen & Pantry, or enjoy a casual lunch/brunch at Oaks Eatery. This is a fine getaway for a small group or family. We only had a small mixup with the Wi-Fi but they were very responsive and this was cleared up right away. All the amenities at a small and quiet oasis. We didn't use the sauna but will be ready to try it on a return visit.

They are always so responsive with any issues or questions, truly incredible customer service. You can tell it's a family-owned business, and the couple who runs it clearly works so hard to ensure every guest has a great experience. We recently took a Spring break trip to the west coast and booked through a different management company, which only made us appreciate Bluefish even more. Bluefish goes above and beyond in ways that other companies just don't. It's because of Bluefish that we fell in love with Union Pier, MI--and now that we own a property there, we of course have chosen them to manage it! Getting to work with Bluefish from both sides (as a guest and now as a homeowner) has only deepened our respect and appreciation for how they operate. Their concierge services are also such a bonus, arriving to a fully stocked fridge is a total game changer for families. It takes so much stress out of the travel day and sets the tone for a truly relaxing vacation. Highly, highly recommend!
