Admittedly, I'm picky about doctors and find it hard to find one that I both feel comfortable around and actually like. So it was a pleasant surprise to find some good doctors at this health centre. If I'm not mistaken, this is a son and daughter team. I have not seen Dr David C Downward, but my husband has and seemed happy with him. I have seen his daughter Dr. Heulwen S. Downward and really liked her. I haven't been that happy with a doctor since the one I had back home in the USA. She was friendly, but not overbearingly chatty which I can't stand (particularly in doctors, dentists, and hair dressers.) I would highly recommend this health centre, however if you have an appointment on a Thursday the centre is closed from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., which can be really annoying if you forget this and show up early for a 2:00 appointment.

I find the Doctors themselves here great but as for the receptionists,they would be better suited…read moreto cold calling selling insurance they have that much empathy!One in particular called me the other day and i found her very intrusive in the questions she was asking and rather pushy when wanting me to make an appointment. It has put me off going for my Pill so much so that i would rather pay for it and order it online,daft i know but i dont want the third degree by these people with attitudes like they themselves are medically trained and know what is best for me.
