Place must have changed hands, pizza today: i ordered a thin, thin this time was literally paper, including the edges witch were very crispy a burned crispy, the crust crispy part went in at least an inch before placing sauce or anything else on it and another inch before toppings, so basically dump toppings in the middle. My complaint is the crust, the spreading out of toppings, and the sauce. They must have changed the sauce recipe as it tasted more like tomato paste thined out.. I tried calling back after I tried the pizza but no-one picks up and it gos to automated system, as to service at the window the gal was nice but it sure took quite some time before they would say anything or open pickup window, I guess because they were not ready to take orders or deliver on pizza, they did get all the toppings correct, but if this is their new pizza i would travel to ephraim or Fairview instead. after finally getting a hold of them, they did say the recipe was changed and they offered no apology nor refund. read more

I am sadly disappointed in the customer service provided by this establishment. I was very excited to try this place as a tourist especially considering how well the food looks. As I walked in there was a long line waiting to be seated while there are clearly many places to be seated at and more then enough employees to help in the kitchen as well as at least providing customer service. Me and my family were not even greeted, we had to walk up and asked to be seated and still were not helped. We love their salad bar!! It's worth the 20 minute drive for us to go out to dinner there with our vegetarian friend. Their pizza is good; I like their thicker crust and lots of topping choices. I've been here before and it was good so I was expecting it to be as good as last time, but this most recent pizza I ordered on Tuesday, Nov 26, 2024 was the absolute worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Completely inedible. I ordered a large pizza with pineapple and double pepperoni and a large salad to-go. Thankfully the salad was delicious as they have a good salad bar and I made my own salad. The pizza we literally had to throw away. There was almost zero sauce on it and the crust was cardboard. The pizza itself did not have double pepperoni and the cheese was soooo disgusting. It seemed as if they took an already cooked pepperoni pizza and then added pineapple to it and put another inch of cheese on top of it and tried to bake it again for a brief time and it wasn't even melted. So there was 2 inches of 2 differently cooked melted/non melted cheeses on it. There was soooo much cheese and not in a good way. It was like cheese vomit. I'm baffled at how badly they messed up a pizza and couldn't stop thinking about it so I decided to write the review. I'm really hoping this was a one off but for now I'm taking my business elsewhere because I really don't want to take that chance again and waste my money. We were in the area with the family cutting down some Christmas trees and decided to stop in here. Everyone loves pizza, right? Certainly the little kids who were with us do. We arrived at about 1:30 PM on a Saturday and were seated right away. Their dining area is fairly small so we felt fortunate we didn't have to wait. Not sure how it would be during a busy time. Our server was prompt and friendly and brought over crayons and Kids menus to color on for the kids right away which was appreciated. We placed our order and waited for our order. It didn't seem to take that long but she apologized for the wait. She said it was slow due to being short staffed. We didn't find it to be all that slow though. The pizza's and wings we bought were all great. We also ordered some breadsticks (garlic and classic) which were both very good. A friend from the area joined us and was talking about how great their lunch and dinner specials are, as far as value. We had a large group and were ordering full pizzas so I can't comment beyond his recommendation. Overall, a great little place. I like supporting non-chain local places and this fits that bill. I've driven by here before but not stopped in. I'll put this place on my list to hit up next time I'm in the area. read more

To start our visit, we ordered 4 drinks, our waitress had to come back not once, but twice to basically re-take our drink order, and then 15 minutes later, brings out the wrong drinks. We told her we needed just a bit more time to look over the menu before we ordered, she then walked away and sat down at another table on the phone with someone for about 30 minutes..(we only needed about 5 more minutes with the menu...not half an hour) then she got up, went and got herself a salad from the salad bar, and took it behind the counter and started eating it. We finally walked up to the counter and asked if we could order our food. after waiting 40 minutes, we got three of our four dishes, they said the other pizza would be "right out". We decided not to wait to eat the food we had gotten, so we had finished all three of our other plates before the last pizza had come out. We waited another 45 minutes after they had brought our food out initially, for the last pizza before we decided to just leave. We asked for the manager from our waitress, she said she would go get the manager, she never did. We finally went up the counter to see if we were ever getting this pizza, and the manager told us "well i think they just put it in the oven" and wanted us to wait another who knows how long for it come out. The entire visit took around 2 hours, 1 hour 45 minutes of which were spent just sitting there waiting for them to serve us. The waitress was a joke, the service was a joke, the manager was a joke, there were other people there at the same time as us who walked out without being served because they were tired of waiting. I cannot say enough bad things about the service of this restaurant. It is literally laughable. you have to realize what you're in for when you go here. if you're passing through this area and think hey I could go for some Italian food.. you're barking up the wrong tree. this is the fast food version of Italian food. figured we should try everything. I got a personal pizza and hubz got pesto ravioli and soup/salad bar. soups were all canned or premade or whatever. ALL salty and creamy. but again-- you can't go in here assuming it's gourmet. so it was fine. my pizza was decent and obviously your best bet at this place. it's like chain store pizza. like I said above.. The food was alright but our waitress, Heather, was inattentive our whole stay there. She didn't ask us how the food was once, refill our water once, ask if we wanted anything else once, and didn't ask if we were ready for the check even though we were sitting at our table with our food finished for about 15 minutes. I finally had to ask her for boxes and our check to which she rudely asked if we were paying together or separate. When she dropped off the boxes she just threw them on the table with the check. She also told us that we needed to calculate the separate checks. I think Cavaliers needs to train their employees better and teach them customer service skills and serving skills. read more

I could definitely say this is the best place to go for pizza in sanpete!! Delicious sauce, hearty fresh toppings, not very greasy and very good crust!! Where do I start my rave of the food and service at Cavalier Pizza in Mt. Pleasant, Utah? The service could be sub-par and this would still be a great place to eat but, in fact, the service is as good as the food. As a person who tries to watch my carb intake, I often resort to the soup and salad bar. I especially love to go in on Thursdays for the Clam Chowder but I also enjoy the Broccoli Cheese soup. And then there is the salad bar; this is possibly the best salad bar I have ever seen and, though it is quite small, it is well worth the money but then, dynamite comes in small packages too. I would put this up against any big salad bar. The pizza is just fabulous; the crust has great flavor and consistency . . . neither too thick nor too thin and is nicely crisp on the bottom. Of course, everyone is going to have their personal favorite and their most popular are the Combo, the All Meat, the Veggie and the Chicken, Bacon and Ranch. The C, B and R is my favorite and I always ask them to add almonds to it but, I have also had the Combo and found it to be delicious as well. Cavalier also offers pastas and sandwiches but I find it difficult to break away from my favorites to try something new however, I will be breaking tradition soon to try their meatball sub. I would be remiss if I failed to mention their desserts; all of them look tasty but I did break down once and have the Lemon Berry Mascarpone and it is so good it has been outlawed in eleven states. read more
