We stopped by Posheria for a little shopping and drinking after exploring the Paseo de Montejo for…read morethe afternoon last weekend. We were so excited to walk in after seeing their sign advertising that they offer some harder to find Yucatecan/Mayan liquors! We tried Pox (a corn-based Yucatecan liquor), Xtabentun (a Yucatecan anise and honey liquor), and Yatzil (a Yucatecan chile habanero liquor)! They offer that and many more options (including many flavors of Pox) by the shot. After trying a few, we bought a few bottles of our favorites (they offer different size bottles)! They also sell arts, crafts, clothes, and more. Definitely a good place to look for some souvenirs. The service was great, too. We had a wonderful time trying some liquors for the first time! Very glad we stopped by!
