Crossfit *literally* changed my life. I was always active as a kid, and through high school, but as…read moreadulthood caught up, I found I wasn't playing sports anymore, and I could never get into the groove of going to the gym. When I finally had enough and decided to try this crazy Crossfit thing all my friends were talking about, I was over 40 pounds overweight, had spent 3 months sitting on the couch with NO exercise after a minor surgery(easy excuse) and could barely make it up a flight of stairs to work without being out of breath. Less than six months of Crossfit later, I completed a 100 mile cycling century and a 5K "adventure" race. This year, I'm doing a 13 mile Tough Mudder, and back-to-back 5K Spartan race and 100 mile cycling race. I walk to the train station for work, I fit into clothes I haven't worn in years, and I just generally feel better, every day, not to mention the tremendous group of great people I've met over my ~18 months at CFW. If you know you need a change, but aren't sure where to start...just walk through the door.
