Went in & the atmosphere was so heavy. Stood there for at least 8 min without being acknowledged. There was 3 workers who had a chance to ask or say something, but An older man that was busy with a haircut finally asked if I had an appointment. I needed someone with experience with a child who is autistic and the demeanor changed. I just decided to go some where else because I will not let myself nor my child be added to someone's resume because they "worked with someone with extra support" . read more

Clean, Friendly and the best razor fades in Selma, CA Before you reach this shop you will notice a salon section which is run by Cat's wife. But if you keep going straight you will reach his section of the shop (which you can go through the back on foot also). Big screen TV and a pool table inside will make you feel good and feels like you're inside a man cave. Clean fades with the proper tools and precision. This was the worst haircut I've gotten ever. During quarantine my personal barber wasn't able to cut my hair so I chose to go to Cats Barber Shop in my city. The safety precautions were okay. I did a walk in haircut and all I asked the guy was for a drop fade and a box lineup. First of all he didn't even have his face mask put on correctly, second his equipment was SO BAD, his clippers were barely able to cut, and his SCISSORS didn't even CUT EITHER. He left my fade uneven and he was cutting like he was rushing to get out the door. Overall he left the fade look unprofessionally made and uneven and he even messed up my hairline which also looked horrible. I was so close to not even pay for the haircut but I just didn't give a tip. I'll never go to that place after this. read more

Everybody who sees my review please DO NOT COME HERE!! The barber and beauty salon is not worth YOUR MONEY!! My husband went to go get a haircut inside the barber shop multiple times, he gave them several chances but they tend to fail each haircut, it's always not lined up PROPERLY & uneven!! I cannot believe they let their customers walk out like that. When you cut a client's hair that's a signature of your work. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY!! I decided to come in today to try out the ladies salon today to get a haircut for my sister, my 2yr daughter & myself. I PAID TOP DOLLAR ($75) for haircuts that was not worth it. Half of my hair is longer than the other side. My sister got her hair thinned out & half of it is thicker. I am very upset. I do not recommend for anyone to come to this barber shop/salon. Not worth YOUR TIME nor MONEY. I could've done a BETTER job cutting my own hair myself. read more

Great barber for fades. I have been coming here for a couple of months. I used to get my cuts in Fresno, but was looking for a good shop that did fades. After trying a couple of other local shops, I found Cat's. This shop is the best! Excellent service and great price for a haircut. Staff is friendly, atmosphere very relaxed. Cat is an awesome barber, very professional, skilled, and runs a great shop. I like that I can call ahead and get an appointment, (walk ins accepted, too). It's hard to find a good barber that does fade haircuts, but this place does it right. If you are looking for a good barber, give Cat's Shop a try. read more
