The grounds were nice and had plenty of cabins to accommodate our party. They also have a pond on the premises- where I saw canoes, as well as an archery range and pool. The gentleman who helped out during the weekend was pleasant and knowledgeable. He instructed me and my first shot of many good ones hit close to the outer bullseye. Do know, if you rent the facility out you have access to their full kitchen! I prepared as if we were just only camping and was pleasantly surprised when I found out I could use a pan to cook my food instead. I would have prepared completely different. We came here early October so it was just reaching 40s at night. There was something wrong with the heater in our cabin so we were freezing most of the night but glad we brought extra blankets. It was so hard to get up in the morning cold. I'd much rather go camping when there's a chill and no bugs anyway. It was on my mind to inform the facilitator to help with this but as the wedding went on I completely forgot and by the time I remembered he had already retired for the night. They have a huge camp fire area that we took advantage of and going all night. We were able to roast marshmallows and some for s'mores (first timer) hot dogs, and whatever we wanted to lol. When our second kiddo started at 4 months, I was really struggling with returning to work. But the baby also wasn't sleeping well and we were all struggling. His teachers got him to nap independently and helped our family get to a good place. I'm so glad our family found CCCS.
