This cathedral also know as Orleans Cathedral. It was build in the 12 century and rebuilt at 16th and 18th century. This church is often visited by Joan of Arc. If you want to find out a lot Joan of Arc story, Orleans has plenty of that including this church. The stain glass windows depict the Joan of Arc story. The interior of the church is beautiful. Not many churches in France are painted interior. This church is one of the few churches with interior painting. The color matching the interior need. The church exterior is gothic look with two big tower. The back of the church is really beautiful. read more

La cathédrale domine toute la ville C'est au IVème siècle, période à laquelle s'est développé le christianisme dans le Pays de la Loire, que fut construite la cathédrale primitive. Ravagée à plusieurs reprises par les guerres de religion, son inauguration officielle eu lieu le 8 mai 1829, à l'occasion du quatrième centenaire de la délivrance d'Orléans par Jeanne d'Arc. Style gothique et précision artistique en font l'un des monuments les plus imposants d'Orléans.

Orleans has a good collection of Jean d'Arc. This is very much she make her name know as a brave…read morewomen that pick up the sword and fight. This hotel also has some of the collection of Jean d'Arc. The hotel is built with Renaissance style mid 15th century. The entrance has an statue of Jean d'Arc. It is sculpture by princess of Orleans. The courtyard is beautiful. It is photo spot. The day we visit the hotel was use by photo shot of wedding. I can imagine it is good place to be with photo for important day. The hotel interior is like a small size palace. The wall put many Jean d'Arc pictures. The ceilings is beautiful. To visit this place only take 1/2 hours. It is easy access. Because of Covid condition, they make the visit route one direction.
