The organ in this church is absolutely huge!
When you walk in, make sure you look to the right, to the back and admire the giant organ pipes. As most churches in Europe, this one has it's history too. The interior is lined with small chappies and tombs. I'm not positive of the truth of it, but I've heard that the nights Templar was suppressed here. The bell tower is made of limestone and therefore not attached to the church for safety reasons and has a limited number of visitors allowed a day. I heard the view from the top is great, but I was not able to make it on a day that there was any availability.
I've gone to many churches in Italy and Spain but not in France, I was surprised because it was late summer and I was in a tank top but wasn't asked to cover up my shoulders or knees. There is no entry fee, but they do take donations. read more
