My now-husband and I are definitely not the type of people who naturally feel comfortable in front of a camera, but with Evelína, everything felt so easy and natural. She made the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable, and her style of photography is absolutely stunning. We received a preview of our photos the night of our wedding, and I was honestly speechless. They were incredible and immediately left me wanting to see more--and she absolutely delivered. I've had professional photos taken before, and normally it's pretty easy to narrow them down and find the ones you don't love. With Evelína's photos, it is nearly impossible to find a bad picture. Every image feels beautiful, genuine, and special. I truly couldn't be happier with her work or more grateful for the amazing photographs we now get to cherish forever. I would recommend her without hesitation!

If you want pictures of your wedding, tell your guests to whip their phones out and take pictures…read more If you want professional photographs of your wedding, there are dozens of people with fancy equipment you could hire. If you want someone who is going to guide you through the real ins-and-outs of the wedding process, someone to warn of you of the potential pitfalls and make suggestions that will bring your day to life, and someone to help you craft a seamless timeline all while making you feel seen, heard, and calm during your special day, hire Melissa. The photographs of our engagement session and our wedding speak for themselves. They're stunning, and we look forward to looking at them every day of our lives. What you are getting with Melissa goes well beyond someone to take photos. In our first consultation, she put it perfectly: she has been to far more weddings than you ever will. She is an expert, she knows what to expect, and she knows how to keep things moving. She really felt like a second event coordinator, and one who's primary focus was our well-being. There was a moment during the wedding when things were getting a bit chaotic, and Melissa swooped in and brought us outside, not just to get some beautiful sunset photos but moreso to give us a chance to catch our breath and be in a quiet space with each other. This would have been impressive enough on its own, but considering the fact that Melissa warned us that something like this may happen and that she would trust her instincts to know when we needed something we ourselves didn't even know we needed demonstrates the level of care and professionalism you'll receive when you hire Blooming Faith. Melissa and her shooting partner were a joy to work with, and we plan on working with Blooming Faith for many of our future milestones.

My husband and I explained that we were looking for an authentic, unstaged, photojournalistic depiction of our wedding day. When we looked at the pictures, we wanted to be able to feel exactly how we felt that day. We got married last week and from the sneak peaks that we've seen Julian and Sarah captured that, despite inclement weather! We couldn't imagine our wedding without either of them! We had two photographers for 8 hours, which was able to cover getting ready photos, the ceremony, family portraits, and the reception. Never having planned a wedding before, Julian was completely honest with us, shared his professional opinions, and advised based on our requests. His laid back demeanor, go-with-the-flow attitude and artistic vision complemented our day perfectly. We had three children in our wedding party and he was so great with them as well. From the two pictures they've shared on social media, they've captured exactly what we wanted. Can't wait to see the rest! Book this Orchard Street, I promise you won't regret it!
