The food pantry was recommended by an acquaintance recently as my husband and I have fallen on some…read moredifficult times. This morning on the way there, we ran out of fuel on the highway about a mile from the church. We walked the rest of the way. Everyone was friendly from the minute we walked up. We got signed in easily and went through the line to collect what seemed like a LOT of food of which we are thankful. When we were finished, a nice woman approached us asking if we were the couple who had run out of fuel. She had a gas can with fuel in it, her trunk open to load our food and gave us a ride to our car. Ms. Gwen, a lead pastor and who I now realize is a co-founder of the church itself went out of her way this morning and made what seemed like the worst morning, a whole lot better. We have been searching for a church such as this. The message "come as you are" is the atmosphere I prefer. Thank you,GWEN, for all of your generosity and assistance this morning! I attended two different services and both John and his fake wife talked about raising money. The word of God wasn't the central theme. I did some further investigation and discovered a materialistic life style Jesus never lived. My guess is God gave both John and his wife special privileges. One day I called Abundant Life for Godly direction in my life and I was told that if I was a member of Abundant Life that I would have access to counseling. This Church is a fake concept to prey on people who lack direction to know how to navigate on their own. I will continue to expose this church and report what actually goes on in this fake doctrine they brain wash the congregation into believing. I've been attending Radiant Church since January 2023, and it's become such a big part of my life that I almost forgot to share how awesome it is. From day one, everyone was genuinely welcoming. Josh sat with me on my first visit and introduced me to a bunch of folks--it felt like I'd known them forever. Pastor Jason is fantastic--down-to-earth and genuinely cares about each person. He even took the time to meet with me one-on-one when I was new. Outside of Sundays, there's always something happening: dinner meet-ups, spontaneous hangouts, gaming on Discord, and sports. I recently got into golf and found fellow golfers here. Plus, I help run a casual flag football group on Saturdays--it's a blast! My wife and I love Syracuse and decided to make it our forever home, with Radiant being a big part of that decision. Honestly, it's more than just a church; it's a community that's brought so much joy into my life. So yeah, maybe it's a bit odd to Yelp about a church, but when something's this good, I can't help but share.

I was a paid staff leader for the children around 2014-2015. One thing I will say is that Gary Norman is a creep. He came up behind me when he was passing out brochures and slipped one in my back pants pocket and kept his hand there for a period of time. I had to pretend it wasn't happening. But what really makes the place horrible and unbearable is the lead pastor Louis Giordano's angry outbursts and outright emotional and mental abuse. I worked closely with him and can name you multiple instances of when he snapped at us as the staff. I asked him a question about the buddy barrel for the kids and he snapped at me. I asked him about a trip he went on and he snapped at me. He loved overstepping my boundaries and even went so far as to eat off of my plate when it clearly made my uncomfortable. his wife had to tell him not to do that. He opened a yogurt and a little bit of it got on his suit or tie before service and I giggled playfully because it was not a big deal and he snapped at me. He is treated like a god there, and he sure acts like it. He is a horrible person and the day he leaves will be the day this church sees brighter days.
