Cregagh Image Center is your one stop photo shop on the Woodstock Road in East Belfast. Now, why…read moreit's not called the Woodstock Photo Centre is probably best answered by others. But, nonetheless, it'll take care of your photo needs. They offer a number of photo services, including developing and printing of digital photos. They also house a photography studio if you ever need to get that family photo made. You can also print your own photos at the kiosks inside the store. One of the coolest things I noticed about is that they do a photo restoration service. When I visited, right on the front door they had a huge restored image from the Harland & Wolff shipyard in the 1930s. It was a snap shot of the riveting crew from 1930 and looked like a recent photo. Except that it was in black and white. And everyone was wearing a cap in the picture (I mean, everyone. It must have been part of the uniform)..

In other words I needed help to sort things out, which is just what I got here. They burnt all the pictures on to a CD for me and were so pleasant about doing it. All I had to do was wait around for a while, instead of poring over some computer or photo kiosk getting crosseyed - though they're on hand here too if you need them. The CD burning cost no more than Boots and it was such a relief to get someone else to do it. All manner of other photo services are offered here too - I'll be back.

Stevie M gets his Yelp stuff printed here so I thought I'd check this place out first. I sent a email enquiry and got a response almost immediately from the manager (Ciaran) advising it would cost £7 per t shirt. I told him we were on a budget and he agreed to do for £6 per t shirt which was great. When I emailed him the image, he redesigned the image so it was better quality (at no extra charge). I collected the t shirts yesterday and was really pleased with the quality - so impressed. I will upload some pictures of the t shirts after the hen party.

To be perfectly honest I didn't expect them to be able to but to my shock they said it was no problem. I had created the design I wanted printed in PDF format and even though this was completely wrong they spent time correcting the design. This service was second to none. They even gave me a pen drive to I could transfer the design from my laptop - this was the full service. While I stood and waited for my items to be immaculately printed I started thinking that for this level of service I was going to get stung on the price. Once again to my shock getting 2 fabric items printed only set me back £9! While I was in the store, conveniently located on High Street, I noticed they were printing football kits, stag and hen T-shirts, mobile phone covers - pretty much whatever people requested. If you are looking to get something personalised, look no further - these guys are great.

    Dundela Printing

This really is a curious little place. Here's why:…read more 1) The name. Ok, so Dundela Printing may not seem *that* strange, but firstly, I expected it to be a photo-processing place, and secondly, I expected to be around the Belmont Road / Dundela are. It's neither. Dundela Printing is an old-school printing company who make the likes of business cards, located just off the Beersbridge Road, a good ten minute drive from the actual location of Dundela. Furthermore, it would appear that there is a second Dundela Printing company located in Dundela Crescent. Oh the confusion. 2) The function. When you arrive at Dundela Printing's premises, its like stepping back into the nineteenth century, right at the heart of the industrial revolution. Huge printing presses, giant printing drums, the scent of coloured ink...quite strange in this day and age. Definitely good to see an old-fashioned method still in use mind you. Truly retro. 3) The actual premises / location. I've established that Dundela Printing is actually nowhere near Dundela, but it is instead situated in an old linen mill. This place oozes olde worlde charm, and there's even a huge wooden door just to top it off. The guy at Dundela Printing made approx two thousand for £100, pretty decent I thought. The choice of the colour of the card and lettering, as well as the logo, format and layout are all up to you. Great for any business needs you may have, and if, like me, you're a sucker for all things nostalgic, it's definitely a place to go for good quality business cards and the like.
