As being one of my locals the staff are fast and friendly along with the customer service which is of the highest order. What do you have from a fish and chip shop? Well, for me, that would be chips of course along with maybe fish or a lovely chicken and mushroom pie but thats many choices of what you can have here so theres no limit when it comes to a good quality all round take-a-away service.

Either the previous review was written by the owner or is horribly out of date. The chips were nice but the fish was very poor quality with a layer of thick gooey uncooked batter between the fish and main batter. Also quite small. If it was as cheap as the review said then that wouldn't be so bad but it wasn't. They charged me a whole pound for gravy. No more needs to be said.

A very typical chip shop until recently, now new owners are offering the ultimate Black Country delicacy - battered chips (as made popular by Middletons chippies all over the Black Country). 'Plain' chips are also still offered. If you have never had them, you are in for a treat. Bright orange and with thin batter coating - i know it doesn't sound especially appealing, but you have to try them. Once you've had battered you will never go back!
