I spoke with one of the owners and she informed me that they had just opened the other week. We ordered the house-made lemonade (very refreshing without being too sugary) along with the Veggie Sandwich and the Roasted Chicken Sandwiches. Both were excellent, and I would say that the caramelized onions on the veggie sandwich were unusually tasty. I actually asked if they sold them by the jar because they should. For dessert, I had a volcan de dulce de leche and an alfajor de manteca. Both were excellent. It turns out that one of the owners is a pastry chef, so all ingredients are made from scratch in house. All in all, I was really happy to find Casa Linda. The place has a great, homey ambiance that was super cozy. It has an atmosphere like a French country farmhouse with just the right amount of rusticity. I will for sure be back. The cafe is in the same building is a boutique houseware and clothing store that was great to browse as we waited for our food.

The sandwiches are made to order and the line can be a bit intimidating or overwhelming, but they are so quick, you will be in and out in less than 10 minutes. They have a wide array of sandwiches but the milanesa is the way to go. You get a big portioned sandwich, on fresh bread, we got two big sandwiches with all of the recommended fixings. We got two drinks and two waters - all for less than 13 USD. We couldn't believe it. This meal in the states would've easily been $35 and the quality would not have been as good. Most people here take their sandwiches to go, but they have a little sitting area upstairs if you want to eat it fresh there! Sandwiches were so big I could not finish mine.
