After a good first experience, I Made an appointment, waited 45 minutes, and eventually gave up.

Not the place to go for mens fade. Needed to go to another barber in town right after that to get it fixed. Cost me double. Second place was surprised I even paid initially. read more

My son loved the technique Thane used. I did too. He's talented, fast and experienced. Daughter now wants to go. We will be back. UPDATE I won't be back. I called several times for rescheduling, and left messages. I didn't get any call back. He's good but I don't like feeling inconvenient or working hard to be a customer. read more

Great barber/stylist but you have to make appointments in person. We call him the "hair savant" really a genius at what he does.

Great local barber shop that does hair for everyone. Men's and Women's and kids hair. Plan ahead because it can take a while to get an appointment and they run behind at times. Thane is a great guy who is fun to talk to while getting your hair done. Great hair cut at a reasonable price. read more

Cat Eye Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Milton, Washington

I have been going to Thane for years, he does an amazing Job, My kids went as teenager and now going as adults. You will not be sorry you went to him for your cut. Style, color, highlights he's amazing at doing it all. I seen some of the comments about him not getting back or answering his phone, think of it this way would you want him to be on the phone all the time while you were getting your hair done? I gladly give up a little time to stop by and make an appointment in person to him being on the phone the whole time he's supposed to be doing my hair. Remember he's a small business owner not a big corporation that has several employees. Keep in mind Thane is actually doing you a solid by not answering a phone all the time and having a person that he has to pay a wage, he would have to charge a lot more money for his services. His prices are fantastic and the job he does Outway any extra time spent driving to his place of business to set-up an appointment. I would recommend CATEYE TO ANYONE WANTING GREAT HAIR FOR REASONABLE PRICE. just make your appointment while you're there for each follow up appointments. You will not be sorry you took the Extra time and continued to go back. Small business hair Salon that out weights any big chain Salon by far. If you're not wanting to have a personal experience then go to a big chain hair salon, if you're interested in a home feel and an amazing hair day then take the time to make an appointment and go to CATEYE in Milton you won't be Sorry. LOVE MY HAIR STYLE AND COLOR. My Daughter AND I went today again and we are never disappointed. Did amazing as always. Donica Hammons read more

I lost my hairstylist to a Gene Juarez salon in Bellevue. Instead of driving all the way to her salon, I decided to try something local since I only really needed a trim anyway. I had passed the Cat Eye on a trip to the florist next door, and it looked trendy but pretty laid-back so I decided to give it a try. I made an appointment with Maile, and I was REALLY happy with her. She listened to what I wanted and delivered more. I was also really impressed with how she actually talked me OUT of spending money on products that I didn't need. Who does that? Most places will try to upsell. Anyhow, I was very happy with the Cat Eye, and I'll be making another appointment very soon. I gave 4/5 stars because I have only been there one time. If I am as impressed next time, (and I'm sure I will be) I would rate it 5/5. read more

Great service!!! Was fit in for a quick much needed clean up! I promise not to cut my own hair anymore. Very personable!!! Will be back! Thank you! read more

Best hairstylist ever. Thane is a true hair artist. His prices are so much lower than anywhere else and his work is better than any of those high price stores. For that you have to agree to text his personal phone to schedule, pay in cash, and occasionally wait as he's behind schedule. But it's all worth it. read more

Had my hair done yesterday by Thane for the first time. LOVE IT! Foil and cut. I really enjoyed watching him cut my hair, what a technique! Referred by my niece Sarah! Thanks read more

30 minutes late to my appointment and didn't even apologize. Seems like this is a running problem for Thane. Prefer to go somewhere where they run on time or at least apologize for it. read more

We stopped by to find a new barber for my teen son, we live up the hill less than 5 minutes away. There wasn't availability that day, not a problem and made an appointment for the following Friday 9/29 at 5pm. My son thought Thane seemed cool liked his Nirvana shirt and said he'd be a cool barber he could trust to do his hair. ( He's had some bad experiences) We arrived at 4:53 shop closes at 6 according to Google and Facebook. No one was there, closed and no call or note to inform us they cancelled our appointment. After 5 min I called left a message we waited until 5:15, no one showed up. I called a few more times then left. Never received a return call on Saturday either. (Web and FB say they're open then too) not only has business been lost by my son, but my fiancee, mother, father, brother and his two boys who all live in Milton. Even my sister and her teen kids who live in the valley. Very disappointed in how we were treated and the poor customer service practices by this shop. read more

i also was traveling to seattle to get my hair cut when i decided to give mylee a try (afterall, it was about 4 blocks from my house)...i quickly realized i was getting better results from her than the trendy places i was going to in seattle. mylee is great...she has a way of knowing what it is you want and inputting her expertise as well. the place is pretty much always busy and has been voted best salon/barbershop in all of fife, milton, and edgewood (and there are a ton of salons in edgewood!) i'm 23 and my cute mom goes there as well and ALWAYS get compliments on her hair (done by mylee as well)...give her a try!! read more

Fourth time i've been double booked. Thane is an awesome barber and very skilled but i am a very busy professional and time is money. How would you like it if your customers were 20-30 minutes late every appointment? read more

The prices are VERY reasonable, and the results are awesome!!!. All of my girlfriends get their hair colored and cut there.

Thane needs a decent receptionist. Had to spend $25 on conditioning products after I was way over processed and then asked by the receptionist if I had bleached my own hair prior to having Thane do it . Really? Thanks but no thanks. Moving on to a professional salon that takes ownership and runs on time and on schedule. read more
