I give this a 1 but it really should be none. This location started out doing very well for the needs of the community. All of that has changed. I purchased 3 money orders at this location, only to find out 2 of the money orders were fraudulently cashed. Guess what type of names they were cashed in. JOSE LOPEZ of the Bronx and JUANITA DIAZ VALDEZ of the Bronx. The 3rd one was never cashed, I'm assuming they got scared because once the bank told me they never received my payment, I was on it like rice and chicken. It's no surprise or shock that those names are on the cancelled money order. Obviously an inside job. How can I say this? Who asks for your name when your purchasing a money order? I was unsuspecting. This is what they started doing at this location, some time around the spring of 2017. I never gave my full name but they had the 1st initial and my last name, which is all they needed. This is how they were/are able to rob patrons of this hard working community. Once they have your name, your money order has a serial number on it. With your name, serial number and that m.o cashed, they know when and where that m.o is supposed to be and what it was submitted for. They actually cashed the m.o's on the exact same day payment was due. When I called GPS, the agency that refunds your money, I was informed that this is a common problem within this site. I walked into CASTILLO MULTI SERVICE, 2 days ago, to speak with Raisa, the manager. She's rude if you're not hispanic. (You may have to calm her ass down) There was an elderly woman there, fussing. She also was victimized by these cons. I'm not going to put her name on here, but I did get her name, telephone number and address. I will be following up with her. She seemed so confused so I assisted her on the process of getting her money back. I also suggested she contact James Saunders, the community board and Gregory Meeks office regarding this matter. I'm a little more leather but when the elderly are scammed by these types of ppl, they should be removed from the community and the highest punishment served. Currently, I've only received one of my orders. The other 2, according to GFPS, I'm still waiting for. Apparently they have not received the affidavits(required) that have been sent to them since 5/3/18. Keep in mind, people of Far Rockaway, this agency is good for certain things but find another spot to get your m.o's, preferably the post office. If there's any issues, it should not be where you're going around the world to get back what the Devils have stolen from you, your hard earned money. I rate CASTILLO MULTI SERVICES on Mott Ave, Farrockaway a ZERO for dirty practices and no moral character. read more
