The photographer seemed like he struggled to get about to take photos, he sat around alot, even to take photos which resulted in many unflattering angles. Guests commented on the fact the photographer seemed to do very little. Chunks of the day were missing which they tried to fill with low quality stills off the video that they took. From our point of view they ruined the memories of an amazing day. They didn't fulfil at least 3 things they promised including photos of the bride and groom and guests pre ceremony and no shots of the bride and groom after the ceremony. I didn't get a full length photo in my dress, no photo of just me and the groom staged or otherwise and the majority of images including of the first dance were zoomed in, not full length or were low quality video stills. We also didn't get any useable drone footage as they filmed the back of the hotel not up the driveway and front of the beautiful location. I did send notes about the photos and videos about what was good and what could possibly be fixed but they were unable to fix the majority of issues due to not enough content. I only received just over 350 photos and not all were high quality in our opinion. I've since found out for full day coverage from bridal prep to first dance the average edited to send to customers is around 800!! We, our friends, family, guests are heartbroken, you can't get these moments back.

Lewis Fackrell Photography Review…read more Eager to get going as soon as the lead is attached to my collar immediately I knew I was going to my favourite place, the park. However, something was different about this walk... When we got to the park we met Lewis. Although I'd never met him before it didn't take me long to feel comfortable in the presence of him and his camera. His friendly approach and calming nature meant he instantly earned my trust and by the end of our walk he had me 'eating out the palm of his hand'. Guiding him around my favourite spots of the park I really gave him the run around, he was crouching down, throwing sticks, running between trees, and even managed to keep me entertained during my usual distractions of picnics, dogs and squirrels. That is quite a challenge if you are familiar with the energy levels of a six month old puppy! Lewis came up with some great ideas and was willing to try anything to ensure he got the best shots. I hadn't even perfected my tricks with my own human yet Lewis was patient and encouraging and had me sitting and striking poses within minutes. A true professional. Overall, Lewis managed to capture my best angles and was able to make me look even more adorable that I already am! The store has all manner of accessories and printing onto mugs, canvas and large blow up prints. They have slide processing, gift cards and quick printing from USB sticks or CD's. The staff is knowledgeable about print services and are helpful. Lab quality prints are always impressive but Agfa like most print shops are coming under competition from home printing, which can now easily beat lab quality prints with the right equipment. If you are looking to save on digital prints, excess printing can reduce the cost especially at the 6x4" size.

They were all very unique ranging from serene pictures of the Gobi desert to a wonderful picture of an Indian city taken from the inside of a tut-tut. I like to travel and so found his pictures fascinating. *****The photography range**** The photos were very impressive and I was interested to find out that photography was only a hobby and not a full time job which really surprised me as they were outstanding. He sold large prints, prints on foam board and even greeting cards and at very good prices. I bought 5 cards and a medium sized print on foam board. The cards were only £2 each. I found out that he had a website and so of course I took his card and had a look. The website is very impressive and has an even wider range of photos to choose from. Everything is available in prints of varying sizes from very small to huge and you can even have them on canvas. You can also have any of the pictures made into cards. I have had good comments from the people I sent the cards to and so I have since bought a few more from the website, one of which I have framed and put in my kitchen. It is of Tibetan stupa and it is such good quality you wouldn't know it was a greeting card. I decided I would like a big picture for my newly decorated front room and so I chose one of an old street in Brantome in France in black and white. An A3 print was only £25 with free postage! It says on the home page that the photographer (Ben) is a carpenter by trade and that he makes frames to order so I contacted him and asked him what he makes. He responded quickly, asked me what I would like and sent me some designs. I was impressed so I ordered a frame to go with my picture. It arrived very quickly and well packaged. I couldn't be happier. ******The website****** The website itself is well designed and simple to navigate. The home page describes the site and gives you a little bit of information about Ben and then you can use the tabs across the top of the page to find what you are looking for. You can visit the gallery which is divided into 4 smaller galleries: Far and wide; previewing photos from all over the world, India, China, France, Australia, MongolaCloser to home; featuring photos form the UK including some fantastic photos taken in Scotland, People; unusual pictures of people from around the world and a gallery of greeting cards. There is also a page on the website where you can order a calendar. You can chose any of the pictures on the website to be a page in your calendar. This would make a great present. The prices are all clear and available in a drop down menu on every page. You can select the size of print you would like or whether you would like a card etc and the price is labelled clearly. I work in the photographic market as a freelance marketing professional, and am privy to a fair amount of feedback about Venture. I can honestly say that I have only ever heard positive things about the Cardiff franchise of this UK business, but other Venture studios that are not too far away have been brandished with the name "Vulture Photography' for their excessive use of pressure when attempting to coerce customers into buying their extremely expensively priced images. I have heard the rumours too often to dismiss it all as hearsay, and besides which, a quick search on Google will reveal the extent of the problem. Venture is expensive! It is not uncommon to be asked to pay £800 to £900 for a framed family portrait. This would obviously be a reasonably large framed portrait, but all the same, who has got that kind of money to spend on a photo these days? For this reason I always advocate keeping away from the franchises and sticking with a local firm. There is a great independent photographers at the other end of Albany Road called Photo Mitchell, if you are looking for someone local. They also offer a broader range of services than Venture.

First review - woot!…read more My in-laws are in the UK, so we are having to prepare for two weddings and two receptions...like one wedding isn't enough (even though she is worth 1,000 weddings)! Fortunately, we only needed one photographer. I figured we would just get the pictures done where we live in Los Angeles. After all, there is no shortage of video and photographers out here. My father-in-law was pretty quiet during this whole preparation process of the wedding(s) but insisted on us using his photographer. They had used this photographer for a previous wedding in the family and couldn't stop talking about his professionalism and creativity. I agreed wit his suggestion but honestly didn't think much about it, I was familiar with photography and really didn't hold strong expectations. I started emailing the photographer, whose name is Bart Radka or just "Bart". I was immediately impressed with his portfolio and the responsiveness he showed in our exchanges. We ended up flying into Cardiff for 2 weeks at which time we had plan to get the initial portraits done with Bart. We met with Bart and shot for about 6 hours all around the area. As a pretty advanced and published amateur photographer, I was blown away with Bart's skills and technical aptitude, I actually learned a lot! More importantly, I walked away with photographs that I fell in love with. I know that I will be passing these pictures down for generations and I can't tell you how glad I am that I listened to a recommendation and that we flew 18 hours to have these pictures done by Bart. I would not hesitate to do it again. I have told several colleagues about Bart and they seem passive at first with my recommendation until they see the pictures. There are a lot of photographers available, especially for weddings - let me tell you, but Bart is a master at capturing and is truly unmatched in his craft.
