Then, received the outcome and, regrettably, I would like just to say that I believe the only reason why I was "supported" to "try" applying was, as it potentially could have happened to many others, was to simply pay the £75 application fee. Convenient. As much as Bachelor's scores matter and show some level of knowledge, the true knowledge is not shown just through a piece of paper; therefore, I do feel my 11 years of professional experience (without the need of the piece of paper) have not been given the value they deserved. Perhaps someone with 0 experience in the real world but with some higher marks will be more suitable! I have worked in the financial environment for quite some time now and my journey will continue, progress and get where it needs to be with or without a Masters at your university or another. I have endured a lot more in my life and never given up. £75 would have not made me richer, hence the reason why I do not regret paying them. As an organization, it is incompetent; they deliver a sub-standard educational experience. The staff goes on strike every year. It takes the administration 6 months to do something I can complete in an hour. They deliver fewer contact hours with professors than any other school I have attended. The only positive is that it is a cheap and easy place to get a degree in London. If you want a top tier educational experience, go to LSE or a school in the US. The university's staff and structure literally put more time into hindering any educational experience than trying to deliver a world-class experience. If there were a high school, I would disenroll my kids.

Didn't spend time here for the studying but it seems that they facilitate business sessions whereby the attendees have a chance to interact with the students with a view to 'selling' their organisations and maybe picking up some recruits. University of the Arts London has a major student hub near Bond Street station on Davies Street…read more Throughout the year they host student exhibitions for emerging photographers and artists in a gallery in the centre of the building. It's always really refreshing to see what emerging talent is getting up to. It's even more refreshing if you can view it for free. So if you're low on cash, into art and you want to go and look at some not so famous, but talented young artists I'd recommend having a look to see what this place has to offer.

The building feels quite old but the selection of courses is quite impressive. The quality of teaching seems to be very good from my limited experience. I have taken courses in art, business and foreign language departments in the past. This is a great place to learn what you are interested in. It is also a great way to find people with similar interests. It seems to be smaller than the similar adult education institute in Covent Garden, City Lit. But the quality of teaching is about the same. In fact, I believe some teachers teach at both schools.

As the title suggests, it is a school so you see a student (or two) - they tend to be in their third or fourth year, so you won't need to feel too anxious. They start by taking a very detailed history then liaise with a supervising tutor before carrying out any treatment. Treatment is caring and gentle. Prices are around half of what you would normally pay with a fully trained osteopath: £20 for the initial treatment and £17 for follow-up treatments. You need to allow an hour and a half for the first visit. Be warned, the waiting area is overwhelmingly over-heated and the treatment room - at least the one I was in - was frrrrreeeeezzzzing, so not ideal in that respect! The premises could do with updating but they are moving to a new location - just down the road - in Spring 2008, hopefully that will improve things.

I went to the BSO over 2 years ago for help with upper back pain. After 4-5 appointments that were…read moremildly helpful, I received a back adjustment from the supervising tutor that has caused me chronic back pain much worse than I originally had. The tutor tried to adjust a rib, but there was no 'crack/pop'. He then did it again with tremendous force (he actually hopped a little to get greater force into the adjustment). He did not warn me that he was going to essentially jump on my back. It was very painful and since then (that's over 2 years now!) I have had frequent, recurrent pain where he cracked my back that leaves me lying on the floor unable to do much. I went back a month after the adjustment to tell them about the pain and they said that it's just inflammation and to use ice. Obviously that did not help. I have since tried many treatments and nothing helps. He clearly caused damage to my back. I have spoken to doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors who all said that so much force should never be used in an adjustment, especially on someone of my small size. If the correct alignment is used and soft-tissue work is done first to loosen the muscles, a skilled practitioner never needs that degree of force. I urge anyone going to BSO or any osteopath or chiropractor to talk to them first to make sure they will not use a lot of force for the adjustment.
