I have a muscle condition apparently, which I've sort of known about my whole life, but it was never this bad. I had tried two new mattresses before this one - a tempurpedic, and a cheap floor model from Sleepys that I took because it wasn't tempurpedic. I figured neither one helped, so it couldn't be the mattress. The difference with Sleep Factory Outlet was that David took the time to listen, and to educate me about what makes a person need a firm or soft mattress. We found the mattress that felt best for me, with all the time and attention in the world, no sense of urgency, and not feeling left alone to my own devices. On top of that, they built me a custom-made pillow exactly to the height I needed, in the shape I wanted, at the size I specified, and I've never been happier! Finally, for icing on the cake... I was feeling absolutely miserable and even afraid of driving from how much back pain I had just two weeks ago. I felt light headed and afraid of passing out just from being in the car chair for too long, going on the highways. Something to do with my ribs, I think. I explained my situation, and while David was unable to accept credit card over the phone, we worked something out and I was able to send payment to him and receive my mattress and pillow within hours of them being completed, without having to drive over to try them out! I'm happy to say that I lucked out with the right firmness, as it feels like a full body hug whenever I lay down. I'm getting a solid 8 hours of sleep every night, and I'm sleeping in past the sunlight and sounds of people slamming their car doors in the morning. No more back pain! Incredible.

During this time, I spoke with corporate who assured me that my item could be delivered free of charge due to the inconvenience. I kindly explain to him that store 166030 is where I initially purchased the item, so I feel comfortable talking to this location. So then Chris told me he was talking to his DM & to call back in another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes I called back from my number twice and he would not answer my call. So I used my partner's number and called. Chris answered the number almost immediately which made me very suspicious. He proceeded to keep me on hold with no apology at all. When he told me that my item could not be shipped, so I asked him for a refund, Chris told me that he was dealing with customers & hung up the phone in my face! I have passed US Brand for years and may have stopped in when it was an "Oriental Furniture Outlet" or a mattress wholesaler, I really can't remember. Whatever it was doesn't really matter, US Brand is a converted industrial garage stuffed to the rafters with furniture. Surprisingly the staff is very low key and allows you to catch your breath and get the lay of the land without descending like vultures on a wounded mongoose (very much appreciated BTW.) Unfortunately, their furniture inventory is not our style. Lots of laminate, white leather, sprawling Diamonique chandeliers and copious use of gold inlays. It felt more like an estate sale for the last Gabor sister or perhaps, Imelda Marcos. Obviously, this casino maximus style must sell but today was not the day to channel my inner Wayne Newton. Four stars for the very relaxed sales environment. Given the furniture jackals elsewhere, that's no small compliment.
