I went here twice during the same week. The first time I went with my friends, and I really liked the food and wanted to go once again with my family, however I don't know if I would want to go again anytime soon. They have interesting combinations on their menu. All the food items in the menu have unique names and unique recipes that are special for Casita. The first time I went I ate the Zamazingo Feraye and the second time I ate the Cokertme Kebap. I would recommend you to try them both, especially Zamazingo Feraye, which has a layer of Casita manti (special type of Turkish pasta) and on top of that minced meat.
The staff is friendly, yet although its not very common for casual restaurants in Turkey they add a service fee even though the menu items are not very cheap. The second time I went there we had two Cokertme Kebaps and a coke and we had to pay 7 TL service fee.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a unique casual eat that is okay and how much you pay is not an important factor, however there are way better places to eat in Istanbul. read more
