The theme of the menu this past time was board games. The drink I had on my most recent trip was Princess Lolly and an Espresso Martini. My previous trip was mini cocktails. Mac was my most recent server, and she was not only friendly but very helpful on selecting a beverage. Drinks were divine! I also love their lounge with comfy chairs and fun games. On the previous visit, they even had live music.

We walked out to the end of the pier at Canal Park and then got just across the lift bridge before we were up, maybe 20 min? Went as a group of 5 and each got 2 drinks and passed them around so we could try as many drinks as possible. Every single drink was good, the balance and flavors were fun and delicious. All the cocktail glasses are mismatch thrifted which is super cute and fun! This is a distillery in spitting distance from the lift bridge so the cocktails were pricey, but definitely got bang for your buck. Realizing now that I did not take a picture of the menu which was a mistake because a quick google informed me they must mix up their menu pretty often! The theme when I went was Boardgames so there was Clue, Yahtzee, Candyland, etc. themed drinks. All were good, I got one called The Longest Road (or something like that) that had walnut bitters and it was just so smooth and delish. Excited to come back another time to try another themed menu!

Bent Paddle Brewing Company is a family-owned and operated craft brewery and taproom in Duluth, Minnesota. The brewery opened in May 2013 and uses Lake Superior water to brew it's beers and hemp beverages. Bent Paddle's mission is to create a unique craft beer experience while also being sustainable for the business, employees, environment, and community. And they deliver on it all. I got a flight to enjoy some of their more limited offerings. Munchin Pretzels: An Oktoberfest beer brewed with traditional German Malts and Hops. I get toasted bread malt character with a bit of sweetness, but rounded out by a hop bitterness. The malt profile is definitely the forefront and I wished I had a pretzel to go with it. Infinity Stuf: An Oatmeal Stout that they went all out with 100 pounds of Oreos. Nutty oatiness, chocolate, and medium fullness. I appreciate it not being a Pastry Stout, but still get lots of Oreo character. A Beer of Their Own: A Hoppy Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with a Bar Of Their Own in the Twin Cities. Tropical fruit forward - primarily melon and cantaloupe, with a nice finish. Stratarado: A Hoppy Pale Ale brewed with Strata and El Dorado (get the name?). Tropical fruit, pineapple, some sweetness on the tongue. Liked this one a lot. ______
