No idea about customer service
I have never experienced such a poorly run online business. Over the course of an afternoon they had preapproved me for three different amounts, $10,000 , $2,100 and $1,500. I tried talking to them by phone. Each of the so-called customer service representatives gave me a different story and as soon as I got them to go off script they were even more useless. Their final answers were pretty much all the same. Go to the store. After going through this for the better part of an afternoon I found out that even with online approval they want you to go to the store with all your information so I have to wonder what the online process is supposed to accomplish at Cash4you. I had expected the sort of experience I've had in the past with companies such as MoGo money and icash where the transaction is actually processed online and an e-transfer is sent usually in under 30 minutes. Cash4you online is a total waste of time. They pretend to offer online service when they should just send you to a store at the beginning of the process because that's where you end up even after spending hours with them online. Why not save yourself the frustration and avoid these people all together. UPDATE: My reviews got the attention of a Cash4you executive but things still didn't turn out as expected. As per my pre approval I applied for $10,000 but was actually approved for only $2500. Here's the text that I sent to him: " Hello, Steve Corey here. As you know by now I got an instalment loan today but after paying the balance of my previous loan I received only a little over $1,200. That is a far cry from the text I received yesterday saying that I was pre-approved for $10,000. I feel that I got screwed around again. I had little choice but to accept that paltry amount because you had already done a credit check that showed up on my credit history. Why did you not ask me to provide my credit score and complete TransUnion history before you ran the credit check so that if you did not want to give me the amount requested you could say so at that time and I could go elsewhere. As I promised earlier I will edit my numerous reviews but of course they will reflect this the newest situation and my thoughts concerning today's transaction. So once again your customer left the store unhappy although your advertising said otherwise. This practice of giving a pre-authorized amount after a customer has provided accurate information and then lowering the actual loan amount is to say the very least deceitful and quite likely fraudulent but more on that at a later date." IT NEVER ENDS: I see that cash 4 you is claiming that my statements are false and defamatory but I haven't seen any documentation or court filings so I guess they're just blowing smoke right now. Just when I thought I was done with their incompetence they pulled another stunt that confirms just how how truly incompetent they really are. When I received my new loan under the conditions outlined above I paid off the balance of my previous loan. They were very quick to report my new loan to the credit reporting agencies but they felt it was okay to leave my previous loan show active and still open when in fact that account is now paid in full and closed. Just an oversight I'm sure. Certainly nothing to do with their strenuous objections to my complaints and negative reviews. read more
