Excellent service, great food, decor is clean and well looked after prices are very good. Nice background music on some nights a member of staff will play the baby grand piano and there pretty good. Best Chinese in town if not restaurant. read more

I can't say enough good about this place!! Very deceiving from the outside, so didn't go in for the first 4 years living here thinking it was just a regular old diner or something, and now I can't believe there was a place that great so close by all this time! The dining room is huge, and almost always nearly full during peak times, but the staff turns used tables over quickly so you never have to wait long if at all. The staff immediately makes you feel like an old friend when you walk in, takes time to do this with each and every patron walking in the door or cashing out, and the buffet food always tastes fresh to order(!!) which I have never really experienced with a small town buffet before! No burnt crusty meat pucks sitting around from earlier meal seatings..haha. They also offer gluten free noodles every day right on the buffet for anyone with dietary concerns. Their prices are really great, and their western menu food when we tried it was delicious and VERY under-priced! Really really love this place, and send many of our out of town clients there to be pleasantly surprised when traveling through the area and in need of a fast, delicious meal. ~As for the review complaining about the boxed wine, this isn't a big booze-up place, so I don't imagine it's a high volume customer order. (In many dozens of visits there I don't think I've ever seen a single glass of wine served, and rarely a beer) Boxes don't allow the wine to get ruined with air exposure like a re-corked bottle would. If they don't sell a lot of wine your glass of wine ordered will stay fresh to pour for 6 weeks, whereas wine from a bottle a day or 2 open tastes awful because of the air exposure in the bottle after re-corking. I worked at a restaurant that would cork a bottle open for a glass, and generally would only sell the 1 glass of each bottle opened because it would spoil by the next order! :( If you really enjoy quality bottled wine I'd suggest maybe seeing ahead if you can bring your own with a corkage fee perhaps, as I know some places offer this option but not sure the legalities of it in this province. It sounds like you were there on an off night, perhaps because of the long weekend, but I would imagine if you were to ever try it again you would have a VERY different experience :) Everyone I have ever talked to or asked LOVES this place! read more

Stopped in at Casey's not really knowing what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised by their supper buffet. Great selection with delicious food. The atmosphere is less than desirable, but the food was tasty and affordable. read more
