I am almost embarrassed that it took a few weeks to write this review, given how meaningful our experience was with Casey Schein as our realtor. It took that much time to digest what occurred in settling the estate of a loved one. We came from out of town to help with the estate of a cancer victim and had connections with Casey that dated back for years (before he chose to make real estate his profession). He navigated both the business side, and more importantly, the emotional side of our challenges while doing the needful and healing from our loss. Please take the time to read this review on Casey Schein........ ****YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED**** It is a little lengthily but the story shows what an "EXPERT & TOP CLASS REALTOR" Casey is. This was our first home we were selling in the Northlake Community in Castaic. We had chosen a realtor prior from a friends advice, who was out of the area. She had our listing for 6 months. She took the listing, convinced us not do open houses. Over the 6 months, she advised us to drop the price 3 times, (with no results). She did not bring any clients in to view the home, (what did we know at the time). After the 6 month listing ran out, we pulled the listing with her. Within the next few days after the listing expired, we must have received over 100 calls from realtors that wanted to list the home. Around 5 of them actually left messages with a return number to call. The first message was from Casey Schein. When we heard his message he sounded so sincere and from the heart that we had to interview him, (he did not sound like a used car salesperson). We had 45 questions to ask on what he was going to do differently than our last realtor. When he came for the interview, (unknowingly about the 45 questions), he had with him copies of his stats along with copies of his accomplishments within his company and also with ReMax. We were so impressed with his knowledge, presentation as well as his professionalism, that we asked him to go back and answer the rest of the questions he could not get to that night and we would speak again. The next day, he answered all of our 45 questions within an email. That is when we decided he was to be our realtor. Casey had a professionally printed sign made that sat on a tripod showing all the upgrades to view. Casey immediately had an open house for the first 3 weekends, as well as inviting the top 30-35 agents, (in the area), to view on a selected date. It took him "32" and let me state again "32" days to sell our home for the price we listed it at. We had 3 offers. We cannot say enough "GREAT THINGS" about Casey.
