We arrived among a throng of locals selecting their cheeses for the week, so waited for a lull to spend a little time tasting some different options. The person helping us was one of the owners daughters, and her brother also spoke to us a bit. Both of them spoke English very well, and we felt under no pressure to buy anything - though we did buy some Stracciatella and two types of Pecorino. We also tried a soft cheese with a dollop of Dolce di Lecce, which was delicious, but more than we wanted to take with us. They spent a good amount of time discussing the cheeses and the family business - couldn't be friendlier and was a highlight of our day. read more
