ya... while I think their medical advice is sound, and from what I could tell about their surgical competency it's on par with what a medical hospital should be, and the staff is always friendly... the rest of my experience is not great. I have been using their services for a little over three years now. Every day or at least 3 times a week I get an email blast from them advertising care and medicines for sale. That practice alone gives me the creepy crawlies. But also when I take my dogs in for tech work, such as a monthly shot, Im hounded by extra costs and unnecessary exams and tests. If they had their way, what should be a 90$ visit explodes into a $300 visit. One year ago, the monthly Librella injection cost $70 with tech, today it is $101. One year ago, the proheart 6 injections were the "less expensive choice vs heart guard and the reason to do it. This is how they advertised it to me. They have marked up the cost by more than $50. I guess they figured I wouldn't check now that it is a renewing prescription. Today, I wanted heartworm shots for my dogs and they insisted that an annual exam was "required by law" in order to qualify for the heartworm medicine. Vet clinic policy is not law. I went to PetFix down the road, and they only required the heartworm test and proof of rabies vaccination. It feels SOOO CORPORATE!!! I want my vet and their techs to be more grounded and not so fundamentally driven by milking every penny they can from me. I completely understand that they have to make a profit to survive, but this is ridiculous. It's like taking your car to the dealership to get serviced; same repair, higher cost. If paying through your nose is your thing, then Case is for you. For the "annual exam" required to just get heartworm meds for two young dogs under 3 tears old ends up to be $330 PER PET!!! and that doesn't include the cost of the heartworm injection! For my elderly dog, he's 17, $381 before even paying the 170 something they want for the heartworm! settle down people, settle down. Also, they're on a really busy street with no fence, so if your pet jumps out of your car, you get the extra fun bonus of experiencing a heart attack. read more

I absolutely love this vet! I scheduled because I switched vets and they called to get all the records of my puppy. The lady on the phone was super nice and scheduled around the perfect time for me. Once I got into the room the doctor and nurses were great. They were very gentle and informed me of benefits of fixing my pup. I did not feel pressured like how I did at the last vet. read more

I had to fire these guys. We took our dogs there for a year. They do everything they can to make you buy all medications from them. They will allow you to drive to their office and pick up a prescription if you want to purchase your dogs medications at a reasonable price. They had called one of my prescriptions into Walmart at one point. When I tried to get it refilled, they claimed they had never called a prescription into Walmart because it was not their policy. That was flat out a lie. Anyway, if you do not mind them making your dogs healthcare complicated and paying their marked up prices for medications, you might like this place. The people here is great! My dog got deathly ill in July. She weighed 7 lbs. then got down to 5.65 lbs. It was scary. She was skin and bones. Dr. Hall got her proper treatment. The staff here dealt with my voluminous emails. They were good at follow up on where she was with her medication as we slowly weaned her off of the high dosage. They all love my little Sophie! I feel safe leaving her there. . She's been groomed twice there and he does a great job! Thank you so much everyone for helping my little Sophs pull through! She's thriving now!!! read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful the CASE team cared for my pup, Adam. I brought him in without an appointment, and he was worked into the schedule immediately. Dr. Hamlet and Kayla were very diligent in working him up and monitoring Adam, ultimately diagnosing him with a small bowel obstruction. Due to the emergent nature of his condition and time of day, they initiated fluids and referred us to an emergency clinic around the corner, who also gave excellent and timely care. After his surgery, we transferred him back to CASE, where they monitored him closely and administered all of his meds and IV fluids. Wow not even sure what to say here. We moved to the area in February, during Covid. Made an appointment for a first visit and got lost getting to the office. We were in the parking lot when the I got a call telling me that because we were late, we would need to reschedule. Today, I tried again to make an appointment. When I was asked if I my pets were new patients, I explained the last attempt as I was unsure if we were in fact registered with this vet. I was put on hold and then was told the practice is not accepting new patients. Must be really great that you can treat people new to the area like this. The Case vet did not botch up my cat's "lion cut" like the vet did in Richmond Hill without even an apology. I was very impressed how ALL of the Case staff always greet you with a friendly smile and sincere interest in my concerns. Also, the place is extremely clean in the lobby and exam rooms compared to the Richmond Hill vet. They even followed up with a text the next day to check on my cat. I have a 3yr old cat who has had a lot of upper respiratory issues on and off. Late one night it was clear she was getting very sick again. The next morning I called CASE first thing and they (having never seen her) took her in for a walk-in urgent care appointment. They mainly do regular vet check ups, I believe. I told them she does not like going to the vet, and while a different vet's office formerly pushed her to the point of scratching a tech and recommended sedation for a routine check up, the staff here at CASE started out w thoughtful accommodations. They brought in a warm towel sprayed with pheromones from a nursing mother cat to soothe her. She lay on the towel the entire visit. During check up the vet and tech petted and soothed her and would stop if she hissed or became agitated, soothed her again before continuing. They were also very careful to ask me about procedures, options, potential outcomes, and pricing. They did not proceed without my consent. They helped me find solutions to a potentially expensive visit. This allowed me to securely provide the proper tests and care for my sick pet. I am very impressed with this clinic! I do intend to continue here. The staff seems happy, laughing and cheerful, friendly, and truly care about their pets and owners. It was stress free for myself and for the most part for my cat (who was calmer than any previous vet visits elsewhere!). We just moved back to Savannah and weren't sure where to go. We loved our vet in Statesboro! Now that we went to CASE we are no longer nervous to find a new place. CASE seems to genuinely care and I am so grateful! Thank you to the staff! Amazon was out of stock and 1-800PetMeds no longer carries it but I found this company while Googling "where can I buy Vectra 3D online". Nice website that says "Please check out our wide selection of products that can be delivered right to your door" and 5 to 9 day ground shipping is free, so they must deliver all over the country, right? I look up the phone number separately and call and ask a couple of questions about autoship to make sure they are for real before I place an order online. The prices are just a few dollars different from what my vet charges so I decide to order enough for the rest of the year and pay for two day delivery. An hour later I check my e-mail and what do I see? They denied my order because: "We are sending this e-mail to notify you that an item you have requested for your pet cannot be processed at this time for the following reason: No client/patient relationship WTH???? You want me to fly my pets to Savannah and introduce them to you before I can buy flea control products from your website? If you only want to sell to people who take their pets to your brick & mortar location, you should mention that on your website right up front. I could have spent the time I used to register and place an order on your site posting a job on Task Rabbit for someone to make a fast $20 doing a round trip to pick up and deliver Vectra to me from my local vet. I wanted to review the vet services and the grooming separately. First I am going to have to give the grooming service 1 STAR. The major reason for this is that a day after I had her groomed I noticed blood on her leash and on her foot. Turns out they tried to clip her nails when I explicitly asked them not to. So not only did they not follow my request they did a poor job. Second, I asked the the sanitary areas and the back legs to be clipped. This did not happen. I expected more from a groomer who operates through a vet's office. I was sadly disappointed. The vet service deserves 5 stars. Dr. Dasher was really good with my 13 year old Chow mix. Turns out that she had been dealing with a bad bladder infection for a while and my previous vets never caught it. My dog is doing so much better now. My wallet on the other hand needs major help. I'm just happy that she is more confortable in her last years. read more

Case Vet is a top-notch facility! The staff are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their fees are very reasonable. The office is always clean. The boarding area is very nice too. They did not hesitate to let me tour the facility before I agreed to board my dogs. My dog was very sick in December, 2009, and they completely exceeded my expectations in service and care for my sick pooch! I never write reviews, but this place is stellar. Literally everyone who works at CASE is friendly and welcoming. They all know my dog's name, and he actually gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot because he loves being greeted by all of the techs and staff at the door. The veterinarians are knowledgable, and all of them have been very good at handling my dog and cats. The techs are wonderful. They even have special pet candles going in the lobby, so it smells like apple pie and various other things you won't expect to come wafting through the doorway when you enter a vet clinic. I have been a client at Case Veterinary Hospital for almost five years. I am always treated as a valued customer. Vet care is expensive but they never push me to do more than I can afford. My main doctor is Dr. Geoff Hall. He is a wonderful doctor and takes good care of my dog. He is so good with every animal we have taken there. Dr. Walker is also very good as are all of the doctors we have seen. While the front desk can be busy, all of the staff knows me and my Abby Inez. They all try to build relationships with their customers. They also board pets and they have an insurance plan called Case Care which gives you discounts and covers all of your pet's annual exams and shots. I really love this place. read more

The vets are very nice and kind to animals. It's obvious they are told to up sell all kinds of treatments and testing options for your animal to raise the charge of the visit. It is very sad that the concern for the animals is not put first but rather making the Case family very wealthy. My cat was not eating. Case INSISTED on doing surgery on my cat for a supposed intestinal blockage (which turned out to be nothing more than a big hairball) They Charged me nearly $1000 for TWELVE!!! x-rays over three days when one should have been enough. I paid them for one x-ray and the initial visit and left. These jerks even said at the beginning it may just be hairball, but they wanted to cut my cat open right away and go poking around. They were sure to tell me that they would need for to pay the $3500 up front. Went to another animal clinic down the road. They gave by cat a special hairball remedy and some additional fluids within an hour my cat was feeling great again. CASE VH is run by incompetents and liars. DO NOT GO TO THESE CROOKS!!! read more

Case is by far the best vet clinic we have used since moving to the south. We had to say good bye to our beloved 9 1/2 year old great Dane last month and Dr. Allgoood's caring and compassionate nature made the unbearable process more bearable. We had to rush her in just before closing and her and the staff were so sweet and willing to stay for us. They were able to take digital x rays which let us quickly confirm the problem we feared was present. We had to make a very tough decision that day and I don't know what we would have done without Dr. Allgood and Chelsea. They made our sweet dog as comfortable as possible and allowed us enough time to make the right decision. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff and doctors. We waited at reception for a vet tech to pick up my dog; in the meantime, the vet techs around us were chatting with other clients about personal or irrelevant stuff. Other dogs that came after us got picked up too. Not us. After more than 30 mins, I finally just got up to ask if we were to be seen. After all I just needed someone to pick up my dog. Seriously, how can we be invisible? If you have clients waiting at the lobby, please attend to them first before you make small talk with others for 20 mins. Some people have other things to do! No wonder they're always booked. If you guys were more efficient, you could probably fit in more people in your calendar! read more

The best vet we have found! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and all of them have been cared for here! We had an emergency illness with one of our cats last year and they were amazing, from the front office all the way to the kennel techs.It was amazing to have such support and care for our sick baby. They also referred us to a Cardiologist in Charleston, which is nice to know they will do what is best for our pets. They always treated each appointment and each of our pets as if they were the only patient, giving time and attention to them as we do. Absolutely love Case! read more

I had to take my sick 5 year old Westie, Fred, into Case last week. We were able to be seen the same day that I called. The Vet Tech was great and handled Fred confidently. She asked good questions and put me at ease right away. When Dr. Allgood came in, after a thorough examination, we discussed a number of treatment options and she helped me make a decision as to how I wanted to proceed. Fred got subcutaneous fluids right away to help him start feeling better and some medications. Fred was feeling better in a day or two. A few days later I received a call to check on Fred, and I was happy to report he was well. The whole experience was positive from beginning to end. I have used Case for grooming and boarding since moving here Aug 2012. All the staff has been friendly, courteous and helpful. read more

I had a 9 year old sheppard, Lola. By the time I brought her into Case for a second opinion it was to late. I had her put down today. All I can say is the staff was top notch!! You can tell that the entire staff truly loves animals and that this is more then a job to them. I talked to Beth on the phone before I came in and she did everything she could to help me financilly so that I could get Lola the care that she needed. I was near uncontrollable in my grief and they were so caring and gentle with Lola. I could not pick a better place to take care of her. We saw Dr Allgood and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. She let me lay with Lola when she left me and did not rush me at all, consently asking how she could help or if I wanted more time. Their facility is beautiful and clean. from the soothing scents to the calm sound machine in the room where Lola left me it was very peaceful.......it is so hard to find the words. I came to Case after adopting Meeko our 7 week old kitten to have him checked out for FeLV and other health concerns. Even though they were booked solid with appointments they still were able to work me into the schedule which was much appreciated. Lobby is comfortable and offers free coffee and bottled water. Which was nice since I had to wait a little while since I didn't have an appointment. Lots of quality products and cat/dog food. The two gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly.
