I didn't get to explore as much or stay as long as I wanted, but everything I did see was beautiful and really enjoyable. You can rent pedal boats and ride around the lake, or just walk around and take it all in. There's also a library overlooking the pond area that's really nice to stop by. Overall, it's a great place to spend the day, and I'd definitely go back to explore more.

This area contains the Chapultepec Castle which used to be the imperial palace and presidential residence. It also houses the Museo Nacional de Antropologia which is a historical museum of the country. It also contains the Chapultepec Zoo which is a popular and free kids attraction. We first walked through one area where we saw souvenir stalls selling trinkets like magnets and monkey hats. We then saw the lake and bridge. Then we walked to the castle base. Then we walked over to the museum to enter. Throughout the area you'll see street food and street stalls, performers, and walking paths. There's also a lake where you can rent paddle boats. If nothing else there are lots of trees so you can relax in the shade. If you're coming to Mexico City this will most likely be one of the stops you visit, and depending on what you like you could spend all day here.

Accessibility: this place is not wheelchair accessible at all, and neither are the bathrooms here. All of the stalls are too small. If you are a wheelchair user I do not recommend coming here sadly. Experience: this place is absolutely incredible. The entrance is donation based, so you only pay if you want to. You park your vehicle in a dirt/rock parking lot outside the entrance then walk inside. Once inside, you can either walk to the rock structures this place is famous for, you can rent a bike and ride there, you can ride a horse (prices listed in my photos), or you can get inside a wagon that is pulled by horses (prices also shown in photos). There is a restroom here at the entrance as well as outside a restaurant (10 minute walk from the entrance), and restrooms farther out. You have the free will to walk around anywhere, and I suggest this over a horseback ride or wagon ride if you are able to walk. This place is not wheelchair accessible AT ALL. Kid friendly: this place is extremely kid friendly as there are changing tables inside the bathrooms, there is a swing set for kids near the restaurant 10 minutes walking from the entrance, there are mazes, ponies for kids to ride, giant plastic balls/bubbles that you can get inside of and roll around in, bombing into other people in them, and more! I have honestly never seen a more kid friendly space in Puebla.

There are old columns that seem nearly ancient, lying on their side, and a glass greenhouse that either seems to be there to preserve the ancient ruins, or to protect plants. It's hard to tell which. There's all kinds cool plants around here- the park is meticulously landscaped. There weren't many people in the park, but it feels safe, as most of the park is surrounded by buildings, which makes for only a few access points to get in and out of the park. There's lots of public works of art here, interesting structures that seem to be preserved ruins along trails that meander around the park. Cool looking structures that seem to have no purpose other than looking nice abound in this park. Next to the park is a shopping mall full of modern shops, like Olive Garden, shoe stores, and other high end shops. There's a parking garage next to the park, which makes it easy to access the park.
