If I come in with a specific shortcoming in mind, I usually leave with a practical fix that costs R$10. And despite that low price, I can count on the product to serve my needs for months after. Consider the automatic plant waterers I have that were designed to give a second life to single-use plastic bottles. Or the towel hooks that attach by suction cup to my shower's glass walls. Or the little trays that secure by magnet to the refrigerator by my front door, giving me an easy place to organize wallet, phone, gum, sunglasses, and other stuff I'll want the next time I head out. When compared to other discount stores in São Paulo and beyond, the dependability of Daiso's inexpensive products blows the competition away. Finally, service at Daiso is good enough. The parking lot is nice, with enough space to accommodate lots of people (can't say the same during Xmas). The decoration is fine, and the mall is very clean. They have three food courts; the biggest have all the fast food chains, the second with a few restaurants like Galleto's, Emporio do Frances and the third with premium mall restaurants. You can find hairdressers, some cafés and only one book store. The reason I didn't give four stars is because they don't have movie theaters here.

My girlfriend (Brazilian) called 14:00 and the lady at the phone said the rings would arrive 16:00 max. My girlfriend went there (far away from her house) to get the rings around 16:00. They screwed up, didn't put the order in the system for the factory the day before. No sorry for the big mistake. My girlfriend went there paying a taxi and back for nothing. No problem! 19:00 it will be here! 19:00 there are no rings. Don't worry! 20:00 is the max!!! 21:00 is the max!!! 21:50 the rings are there! Amazing!!! 1 big screwup with no sorry, 4 false promises. There are only a few stores caught my attention but really ended up buying nothing. I went thru all the floors under 30 min. There is a food court on the top floor but that's about it.
