That was a separate 750-800 quote to do drywall repairs through home all wall surfaces excluding ceilings. Then he was also supposed to paint all interior walls, and touch up ceilings and trim. Then the paint was supposed to be $2000. Mind you this was for labor only. There was a separate charge for all his paint brushes, sanding blocks, and paint. He didn't perform many of the drywall repairs that were needed so you could still see the joints through the paint including corner and butt joints. Also he didn't mix the paint well so in many spots I ended up with a color difference. Then he brought in sub-contractors that got paint flake and brush roller marks all over the paint. He said he would sand and repaint, but he didn't. He also didn't touch up the trim and most of the areas still need a second coat of paint. There were runs in the paint that weren't already there. He refused to fix his work and do it right because he claimed he way underbid the work and didn't want to finish the job. Thus I am stuck with having to totally redo all his work or hire someone else to do the same. Then at that he demanded I pay him half of the money ($1400) even though he refused to finish the job when I had already paid him half of the cost of the drywall repairs ($400). I was so mad I just agreed. I however, don't think it is fair or reasonable considering someone else isn't going to charge less to have to redo his work. When more drywall mudding has to be done a whole coat of primer and two coats of paint will have to go on. If anyone wants pictures feel free to email me at MelRad187@yahoo.com. My best advice is look for another contractor unless you want a bad job and to get ripped off.

Neutral Grounds isn't just my favorite coffee shop in the area--it's one of my favorite coffee…read moreshops of any of the places I've ever lived. While service can be a little slow at times, their coffee is well-worth the wait! My go-to drink is an iced Sweet and Salty (great with oat milk, which cuts some of the richness of the sweetened condensed milk). I also recommend the matcha latte or the Blue Lavender for non-coffee drinkers. Their seasonal offerings are always fun; I've been a big fan of the Cornhusker (which features house-made sweet corn cold foam!) this fall. Their food menu is limited, but very good! The pan con tomate is my favorite of their toast options. Their scones are always light and flaky (lemon poppyseed is the best!). I'm also a big fan of their house-roasted coffee beans. I haven't encountered a roast I dislike, but their medium roasts are probably my favorite. The only downside to Neutral Grounds is that they don't open until 7am, which is late for a coffee shop. (In their defense, I'm usually the only one there if I go before 8:00; their clientele seem to lean later. 10:00-11:00 appears to be their rush hour, with most seats taken and a line of customers waiting to order. The few times I've gone in the afternoon, it's been pretty quiet).
