This was my favorite activity in Barcelona. This is Gaudi's first house and is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The marigold tiles are permanently stuck in my head. This was pretty short - maybe an hour and it is self guided. I didn't find it overwhelmingly crowded either. The gift shop is also excellent for souvenirs. Definitely make this a stop on your trip.

Decided last minute to go and able to get tickets. Very cool, great audio tour but I was disappointed that there was no furniture in the rooms. The rooftop view is awesone. The Gaudi historical info and his design are def worth the visit. I enjoyed Casa Mila more but still enjoyed today's.

If you're into unique architecture and wanting to know a bit more about Gaudi's history within Barcelona, highly recommend booking a reservation for a tour here. It takes about an hour or so but you then have time to roam the house as long as you'd like and take as many pictures as you want. Offer tours in English, Spanish and Chinese you do need a reservation for the tour. This is a nice alternative experience if you're not able to get tickets for Park Güell.

We just bought tickets as we arrived. The house is one of the smaller ones, should take about 1.5 hrs or less. It's still worth checking out but the cost of admission should be less. Employees were all nice. Not very crowded.

Gaudi's first house design is an extravagant and stunning example of his work with an exceptionally fine interior restoration. Not too crowded even on the weekend and a delight for anyone who loves architecture.

Another one of Gaudi's UNESCO World Heritage masterpieces. Due to the covid it was closed to visits, but still we got to enjoy the playfulness visible from the outside. As my daughter had stated it..it's like we stepped inside of Alice in the Wonderland book.

This is one of my favorite Gaudi masterpieces! It's gorgeous from the entrance to the cafe and in every part of the house. The textiles are intricate and the colors are rich. I came on a weekday around noon to find the place relatively quiet which was great for photographs. The lack of crowds also allowed me to take in what each room of the casa had to offer. There's even a terrace which provides some awesome views of the city. Casa Vicens is gorgeous and should definitely be added to your Barcelona sites list! Cutest house ever! Must come see this if you're a fan of Gaudi and love architecture. Every room has its own uniqueness in it and it is so well designed. I love the patterns in each room. My favorite room will have to be the smoking room. I love the patio and also the small balcony in one of the rooms upstairs. I was so fascinated and adored this house so much. Would love to have a summer beach house like this. I definitely recommend coming to check this house out.

An amazing look at Gaudis home. The design of this building is just something you have to experience in person. We did not do the tour, but just seeing it was a great experience.

Casa Vicens was 4 of 7 sites I visited created by Antoni Gaudi. The highlight of my trip in Barcelona was seeing Antoni Gaudi's creations. His architecture is so creative and you are just sucked into it. Vicens was like staring at a life size gingerbread house. Awesome whimsical design. The green and red colors were nice. Again, everything was super symmetrical and lined up perfectly. The square white/green trim was unique. Smaller of the stand alone buildings I saw by Gaudi but there was a metal balcony and gates. I liked the open balcony design.

I just visited the Park Güell and was wandering around this area. And just saw the Casa Vicens quite close to me on the map. So I decided to have a look of this plave. Too bad for me, when I was here, the place was in construction. I only got a look of the one side of the building. It looked the whole place will be under construction for awhile. Well, even just a small corner. It still looks pretty. I might visit this place again, next time when I am in Barcelona again.

It was actually easier buying it on GYG because the official website kept refusing my credit card. We chose the 11 am timeslot and arrived at the house on time. We were given audio-guides on the way in and spent our time going through each floor of the house. We even explored the attic and the rooftop. The view on a clear day are fantastic. As we moved through each area, we were provided information via audio-guide during our wanderings. The house is beautiful and was a marvel when it was completed in 1912. The curvy lines and the columns give it the modern feel that is still unmatched to this day. If you're a Gaudi fan, this house should be on your list. This was my second visit to Barcelona but my first visit inside Casa Mila. I'm so glad I got to see it from the inside.

We took our time exploring the apartments, courtyards, and attic, and it was fascinating to see how far ahead of its time the design was. Even if you're not an architecture enthusiast, it's easy to appreciate the creativity behind every corner. My favourite part was the rooftop; the famous chimney sculptures and panoramic views over Barcelona were beautiful and there were plenty of photo opportunities. The audio guide was helpful and explained the history and design very carefully and clearly. If you're planning to visit, booking your tickets in advance is a good idea since it gets quite busy, especially during the summer.

This house was originally intended to be a luxury apartment building, with the owner & his family residing in the lower level, the "Noble Floor", and tenants living in the upper levels. We got tickets from GetYourGuide & decided to do the Gold Tier the night live music experience on the rooftop terrace. This came with an audio guide, augmented reality tablet, Dome experience, concierge room access, front row seats for the concert, & glass of cava wine. The whole experience was lovely! Entrance time was 8pm & we arrived 20 min before, which a line had already formed. I loved the augmented reality tablet; it shows you what the rooms looked like with furniture, when the family lived there 120 years ago. We did this experience on the first day of arriving in Barcelona & was a great way to start the trip! We honestly were expecting a group of performers but it actually ended up being one singer, who was amazing! I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to visit Casa Batlló. We were also able to get a photo on the top floor, looking out of the window which was super cute. The experience was ~2-2.5 hrs overall.

We showed up for our time slot, waited about 20 min early, staff came out and handed us tokens and wristbands. Token is for a drink included (champagne). Gaudi had a wild mind. The architecture was definitely... different haha not my taste but i appreciate the vision he created. I'd probably go crazy if I lived in such a house but the place is huge, so many rooms and floors with so many hiding spots, boy hide-n-seek would slap. I do love me some history, so seeing all this and listening to the headset on the self guide was enlightening. We grabbed tickets that included a show on the rooftop and it was nice. We ordered some drinks and snacks and enjoyed our live performance. Super cute for date night!

The intricate architectural details are stunning at every turn and the way the sunlight filters through the stained glass windows inside is something else entirely. Truly breathtaking. My biggest recommendation is to book a tour guide. There is so much rich history behind this cathedral that you simply can't absorb from just admiring the architecture alone. Having a guide really brings everything together and makes the whole experience so much more meaningful. One practical note worth mentioning: the dress code enforcement here can feel inconsistent and as someone with a bigger bust, I experienced that firsthand. I wore a modest, relaxed maxi dress with minimal cleavage showing and was turned away at the entrance, while other women in similar or more revealing styles were waved right through. It seems the same outfit reads differently depending on your body type, which is worth being aware of. If you're curvy, bring a shawl as a precaution to avoid any unnecessary stress before your tour. The design is definitely kinda beautiful yet creepy at the same time. Here, there is so many details on the outside alone from every level of the massive church. Now the lady has been inside her last visit and told me there is only one floor and a lower level. Next time hopefully I'll be able to see it from the inside it was DEF packed with people so being sold out was expected especially as people vacation before returning to school (the kiddos) etc.
