Rooms are spacious and feature a full shower/tub along with a toilet and a bidet. My room was on the third floor and faced south. The thick walls make the rooms very quiet. Service is impeccable and very friendly. I was the only English speaking person I saw. Few Americans know about paradors from what my friends tell me. It's a treat to have a glass of wine before dinner and enjoy the beautiful spaces. I ate all my breakfasts here as other options offsite are a 10-15 minute walk. Warning: large cars will not fit through the very tight gate you have to navigate in order to park (free) on the property. My Citroen small suv barely fit :). There is free public parking 200 meters away if you're driving a van

The building is beautiful and historic and even has a swimming pool hidden inside - a great place to take a drink. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast choice was excellent. A great choice to see the amazing town of Carmona.

It very much matches the city itself with it's crooked, steeped, in history feel. This is a very beautiful old building that is well kept and maintained. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly, gave us lots of information about the area, maps and showed us how to open the coded doors for when we came home that night. The room itself was lovely with a great deal of character, the bathroom featuring the wonderful blue tiles found frequently in this region, and the bedroom antique style furniture. They put a lot of effort into the general upkeep and appearance of this place, using good quality cosmetics in the bathroom, and the bedding being good quality and clean. However although we were put in the back room due to fireworks being let off due to the festive celebrations in the square, we were still kept awake with all the noise from the other residents. The bell that they put on the key-ring, which at first we found adorable, turned very annoying when listening to others trying to open their doors in the night. It really wasn't a peaceful rest. Additionally the bed was just terrible, I sat on the end and it tipped up! We found ourselves unable to get comfy and woke tired the next morning. The shower however had amazing pressure and was very much a redeeming feature, spacious and luxurious. A lovely place, extremely quirky, very central, but really not practical for a good nights sleep I'm afraid, which is why I have not given this place a higher rating.
