Each room has a private hot tub/jacuzzi on the balcony, which is heated and perfect for the winter months when the ocean or pools are a little cooler - or especially for taking a relaxing dip in the evening after dinner. The property is safe and secure, and just a little ways from the Tulum center. We had a rental car and parking there was much more convenient than being a few blocks closer in town with street parking. And for the quality of accomodations, the priced were very reasonable.

We were not used to huts and such an active night neighborhood and once we experienced it, we were sold! I think the drive in can be intimidating if you are not open to learning more about the city, and this is what made the location of the resort so amazing. The whole resort was very clean and well maintained. The bar tender was amazing! Seriously, give that guy a raise. The rooms had AC! SCOOOOORRREEEE. The condominium is adjacent to the sandy beach. If swimming in the ocean is not for you, the condo has a pool as well as a jacuzzi! Cozumel scuba diving is the best but the staff was very personal and pleasing in every way. Each condo has its own gas grill and patio but the guests ended up sharing time together grilling and relaxing by the wonderful pool in the evening after diving all day. The Villa Diamond K Cozumel has extremely high walls covered with tropical vegetation to keep the outside city noise non existent. Douglas is like the Grandfather I never had, he has lived on the island for 30 years and built the Villa Diamond K Cozumel from the ground up. It was a wonderful trip. I will return. My condo kitchen was actually nicer than my own kitchen at home and the bed was one of those adjustable ones I would not buy for myself because I am to cheap. Douglas spares no expense for his guests. Some of the condominiums have their own washer and dryer, others the staff will provide the service at little to no charge. For larger groups breakfast and evening beverages can be provided. All in all it was a great find and I have visited Cozumel many times how I missed it all these years was my loss. Service - at the beach the staff pretend they dont see you, most staff look like they dont want to be there. The beach is also very ugly with the seaweed barriers its just not at all appealing. The resort is big but it looks unkept and not at all modern by 2025 standards. The only positive thing the room seemed clean but the bed definetly uncomfortable. Room was incredible with amazing views. The bar in the lounge served fresh sushi and exotic drinks. We did the all inclusive and their selection of alcohol included was well worth the price. The Italian restaurant had a great vibe to it and all of our servers stayed after closing to make sure we were taken care of until the end. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options to choose from and overlooked the lagoon. The bike rides through the property were fun and there were plenty of golf carts to take us around when we didn't feel like walking. At night, the bar by the ocean was perfect for a nightcap and fresh ocean breeze. The only complaint we had was we couldn't stay longer. 10/10 we will definitely be back!
