Entry is free for everyone, and it has quite late hours--till 8:30 pm, I believe. The architecture of the building is worth a visit itself. The exhibits inside contain pieces of Galicia's many-layered history: Roman mosaics from the central streets, Celtic lore, paintings from the Prado, works of local Lugo artist José Vázquez Cereijo...
I spent an hour and a half strolling through the museum (I was the only visitor at that time) and it was idyllic. Worth a visit!
