Great merchandise and prices. Found some beautiful pieces for our home. However NO ONE was wearing a mask. None of the employees or other patrons except us (even our 4 year old son was wearing one). It was very disturbing to see and feel it's incredibly disrespectful of their customers, not to mention masks are required in Ruidoso. read more

Must offer a counterbalance to other review....these folks gave taken good care of us for several years! They even sent my Office Chair back to the maker to try to get firmer springs. On a side note.....have them take your Distressed Paint furniture item out in the Sun so you are sure.......all the makers of such things seemed to have gotten Brighter and a bit Slipshod in recent years. read more

Just wow! This place has got a little bit of everything. From Nick nacks to large pieces of furniture and everything in between. They even have lawn furniture made out of recycled plastic. We spent probably about 2 hours looking around and we probably missed half of what they have there. If your looking for it, they probably have it. read more

Always one of our favorite stops while in Ruidoso! Our new home has slowly filled with their furniture. I love how sturdy and original all the pieces are. This store has a nice selection, but is priced high. I haven't minded much as local, until I had really poor service recently. The salesperson asked, "Are you going far with this?" for an item that really needed to be packaged because it was delicate. It was partly my fault that I accepted her offer to just place it in a bag. A small piece broke before I returned home one day last week. Today, I went back, didn't complain or ask for money back, but picked up another because it's a gift. I got the same question and said, "No, but I would like it wrapped because it broke before I got home last time. She wrapped it but had an attitude. I will no longer recommend the store to friends who visit and I won't spend my money there anymore. I should have gotten an apology, not an attitude! read more

Casa Décor has nice things and a good variety, but beware when checking out. Since the building used to be a restaurant, there is a "bar" area where the cash registers are, which makes it very cumbersome to check out. Only one employee is there spasmodically to run the register, and although several people may be in that area ready to pay, no real line forms. Therefore employees don't seem to care that other people walk up and get waited on when someone else has been patiently standing there long before them. Today I experienced this, but to add fuel to the fire there were two women who supposedly were paying for what they wanted to buy, but continued to shop by asking the employee to get this, then get that, then find something else in the back. If they were not finished shopping, they should not make everyone else wait endlessly at the cash register while they decide on things. And as obnoxiously as possible, the one woman shouted for the whole store to hear that she was spending "a lot of money" and by implication said that employees should ignore everyone else but her. And this is what those employees did. I would have gladly waited to pay for my small purchase if any employee would have made eye contact with me or said that they would be with me shortly, but instead they chose to ignore me completely. Casa Décor has lost me as a customer forever and also the friend who was with me. They need to take a crash course in customer service since rude and dismissive behavior should not be tolerated. read more
