Chaviarte was recommended to me by my hotel when I found myself in a tough situation when my…read moresuitcase lock wouldn't open. The gentlemen there spent so much time trying everything they could to salvage the lock, but when ultimately it had to be broken, they did so in a way that caused incredibly minimal damage (they just drilled one tiny hole). Because they did that, I was still able to use the suitcase and lock on the way home with no trouble, and ultimately even forgot it was broken! Beyond being so helpful, everyone there was kind (especially to a bumbling tourist) and I found myself understanding the magic of Portugal on an even deeper level... it's the PEOPLE who truly make the country so special. Thank you, Chiavarte!
