if cartrefi was a person their parents would be disappointed! This company needs to be shut down asap, the issue start from the top down. Poor staff are rewarded by lazy management team, which causes a bullying culture from incompetent staff because they get outshined on a daily basis, which from experience with working with lazy individuals this is they go to, then management find it easier to believe the lazy staff members because 85% of the staff are useless and I wouldn't let them look after a goldfish! The company should of a motto... turn the other cheek! If there is any safeguarding concerns they are overlooked and swept under the carpet because there is a minority of honest, keen working individuals, that individual who bring serious concerns to light is then targeted by incompetent staff and a useless management team! i have witnessed many safeguarding concerns while working for the company and because I was in probation they decided to fire me, they obviously are well aware I collected evidence. the company needs to be run more professional and having 90% of the workforce as females makes it an emotional and unstable environment to work in! The service users are the best thing about cartrefi! when you there making a difference and a service user is happy with the support they are having, the issues arise. Management overlook how happy the service users are and need their egos rubbed. You are measure in how much butt you can lick and not on a professional performance. The service users are a free ride to many employees and also many occasions i have witnessed cartrefi stealing off the council by allowing staff to sleep on shift and not discipline that member of staff, clearly this is also a safeguarding concern! There is no doubt in my mind that this company as no place in this world when it comes to making a differnce for vulnerable adults. These lovely individuals deserve the best service possible. There is no passion or drive to deliver an outstanding service, but deliver the bare minimum! What ever happened to going above and beyond! I strongly suggest if you have a relative, who needs extra support please consider other options, other companies.
