1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more Our experience with Camp & Camp Law Firm was extremely disappointing. During an already difficult and emotionally charged court proceeding, I found the level of professionalism, courtesy, and respect demonstrated by this firm to be seriously lacking. I understand that litigation is adversarial and that attorneys are expected to advocate vigorously for their clients. However, there is a significant difference between zealous representation and behavior that comes across as unnecessarily disrespectful, dismissive, or unprofessional. In my experience, that line was crossed. Court proceedings involve real families, real children, and real consequences. Regardless of which side an attorney represents, basic professionalism and civility should never be optional. Yesterday's experience left me with a deeply unfavorable impression of this firm and its approach. Based solely on my personal experience and observations, I would not recommend Camp & Camp Law Firm. I strongly encourage anyone considering retaining this firm--particularly for a sensitive family-law matter--to do their own research, ask detailed questions about how their case will be handled, and determine whether the firm's approach aligns with the level of professionalism and respect they expect from legal counsel. One star.

In March of 2025 it is discovered that Lori and her staff submitted our taxes to the IRS without allowing us to review the documents. I called the office *AFTER* they had filed them to review and was told I can when we pay for our services in full. We did that and found out that it was already filed before I called. This caused for an amended return and our refund not back until July of 2025. In Oct of 24 I had a horrible fall which caused me to have to close my business and unexpected financial obligations while not being able to work . Lori's office was noticed over 8 times via phone and email that said business is closing. What do we need to be doing, Business account is closed and made sure they had an updated form of payment. All of this in place no later than 3/10/25. At least twice, according to Lori's receipts I made her send me this past week (May 26) she used my closed business bank account to pay multiple items to the state in March and April of 25 causing issues until this week. Receipts were sent to her and her office so they were aware before I was that all this occurred. Knowing this she even sent an email to the state stating I had instructed her to pay with that closed account. In Dec of 25 I had a lucrative offer in place for my business but certain things needed to be in place which led me to the discovery of the chaos Lori and her staff had caused. I was not able to sell my business over a $20 accounting error by MY OWN ACCOUNTANT. Instead I filed Bankruptcy as I couldn't continue to pay for something I could not work to pay for. In January I accused Lori and her staff of not filing my taxes properly and that's not entirely true. They did not prepare our personal taxes correctly. They did prepare our business taxes correctly however paid for everything with a closed business account. It was the above error that opened back tax accounts that I thought I had been properly handled. When I realized something was wrong in January, Lori paid the state almost $1000 of her own finances to try and cover up the errors they made without speaking with me first and blaming me for contacting her during the death of her father. (This was all business, nothing personal) Fast forward to today I have had nothing but push back, a death threat, yelling at me to call their attorney, blame that I instructed them to commit tax fraud and I could go on. Lori nor her staff nor anyone representing them will talk. There's still questions, but the facts still stand and truth and facts always come to light in time. Tried to file a local police report since I lived in Perry County while this all occurred but local police will not return my call to file. We have had to get creative on accountability but it will come. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
