RUN!!!!!!! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM TURF-IT!…read more It shows 1 star.. NOT! I cannot get rid of that 1 star! Horrible customer service. My lawn looks as if the 8 yr old Cub Scout troop installed it. I have large spaces between sod pieces and large whole through my yard. Very lumpy and uneven!!! Turf- it ruined 2 sections of my vinyl fence while moving dirt into the backyard, replaced the sections, but did not install section properly leaving huge gaps in the fence. I told Turf it on several occasions I would be happy to pay bill once work was complete to my satisfaction. They agreed, last week to complete the job the best they could given it wasn't done properly to begin with. Today I was told they would not make things right. They will not fix my fence, they will not even the grass. Basically washing hands of any responsibility for my yard and fence, leaving me to hire a fence company to repair damages caused by Turf-it. A "manager" named KOLE was awful to me, and awful to work with. He was not interested in helping to correct the situation. All he wanted to do was hand me the invoice including late charges, all while completely washing his hands and leaving me to correct the issues. I don't ever recall a time in my adult life that I have been treated so poorly.... RUN DON'T WALK AWAY!

We used this company per a neighbor's recommendation and used them for a few years. The problems we…read moreexperienced were multiple charges for annual services they never completed especially when they stated they completed a service when they didn't. One obvious service was aeration. I checked the backyard and yup, no aeration holes. We had similar issues when they stated they cleaned out our ran gutters. I was home the entire day they billed us for and no one ever showed, but we got a bill for the service. We've used them for over 2 years and I just got fed up with their disorganized, unreliable and unprofessional services. I feel that this is a terrible way to run a business.

Woodward Co is the real deal, and a fantastic contractor to hire. They are professional, timely,…read morecommunicate well, and work hard. The quality of their work seems to be exceptional, and their mentality is to get the job done well and within a good timeframe. We hired Woodward to complete a new driveway project including the addition of an RV pad which included the construction of a rock retaining wall in addition to pouring a concrete retaining wall. Both turned out really well, and I'm confident that we have a product that is high quality, and will stand the test of time. It is clear that they paid attention to the small details, which is evident in the final product. My only concern about recommending Woodward Co is that it will be more difficult to hire them in the future if they are too busy. :-D Please contact me if you would like additional information. I'm happy to discuss my stellar experience with Woodward Co. I will now recommend Woodward Co to all my friends and family. They earned it.

Woodward Co. is a great company to work with. It started with Joey, the owner of the company. He…read moreis personable and professional. Joey has a "can do" attitude and understands that big changes can bring some uncertainty as to what would look best. The grass in my front yard was dead, so I decided to xeriscape it. I am getting older, so mowing has become a struggle since both the front and back yard are huge. I changed my mind a couple of times, and he took it in stride. He understood that this was a big decision. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote for the job as I had looked at others that were more expensive. It was well within my budget, and less expensive than I expected. They got the job done in a timely manner, and his employees were just as friendly, respectful, and professional as Joey is. We moved the boulders around some until I got the look I was looking for, and his guys did it with a smile on their face. I would recommend them, if you are looking for someone to xeriscape your yard. I have had so many positive remarks from my neighbors who say they love it! I even got a suggestion from Miguel (project manager) to add some lights, which I will be looking into. Kudos to Joey and his team for a job well done. Definitely a 10 out of a 10!!
