Matt and his crew came to my house and removed a tree and the stump. They put down a mulch and dirt…read moremix where the tree was at and after 1 1/2 yrs the grass still wouldn't grow. I decided to dig out the mulch/dirt mix and put good dirt there. I dug down 1 inch and the stump was still there. I called Matt and he said he would come the following week and grind it. That was it he never came back and when I called and text and left messages I never got any response. I even took part of my fence down so he would have easy access to the stump and then he didn't show up. I was very happy at first with his crew but after being burned like that it was very frustrating. I ended up having someone else remove it for $350. I had originally left a very nice review for Albert Lea tree service and this is the revised review. If they remove a stump for you make sure you poke something into the ground before you pay. Included is a picture of the stump that was under the mulch/dirt mix.
