I previously rated this restaurant 3 stars. I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail when customizing orders. There were three times in a row that they screwed up our order. But.. we've given them a second chance more recently and they've been doing a great job of getting the orders right. Also the quality had gone downhill about 6-12 months ago, but more recently I've been impressed with how they've gotten back to how they used to prepare their food when I first started eating here a couple years ago. Westons newest addition. I used to eat at the one in Miami Beach often years ago. My reason for 3 stars: i got the strawberry passion smoothie with mango- I ordered one yesterday, it was amazing. I was so excited to get it today. When I got it, it tasted so off and different from yesterday's, and completely watered down. I also got the impossible burger. I was not impressed with it, I think the bun was great, but just something for me didnt click. Overall, I'm excited we have a new healthier option in Weston, I will most certainly give this place another try. It's definitely filling so the price is well worth it. The sweet potato fries are also yummy and taste fresh. A lot of these orders were to go but I have dined in several times for lunch. I have an addiction to this place now. My wife and I ate there 3 times this week. That Chicken Cesar wrap is my go to with sweet potato fries and Cesar dressing on the side. The best carrot cake I have had in a long time, but I have never had a chance to try anything else. Too bad the four other times nobody even looked up to acknowledge us! This is a common theme nowadays. In regards to the food- it is ok. Nothing special. I was so excited to have a healthy option in Weston open up since there are very few spots and since Juicery RX closed. What I didn't appreciate to see is I ordered to go. This blonde female packing my order was eating while she packed my food. Im not sure if this is the restaurants fault for not giving their employees proper break times or if this was just her enjoying a snack on her shift. She was eating pineapple with her hands and then touching my food which I am not ok with. On top of that they work at such a slow pace. Received an advertising flyer for this new restaurant in Weston. So we thought we would check it out. Food was okay not spectacular. Server dropped the food off but never came back to check if we needed anything else. So maybe it's not this kind of restaurant where you get table service. Not sure. This is the best Carrot Express I've ever been to and I've been eating at various Carrot Expresses for many years. The food is great! And the customer service is beyond excellent. They are always so kind and hospitable which is not the norm in South Florida. They also have great lunch specials here that I haven't seen at other locations. Patricia is incredible! I typically love Carrot Express however over the weekend I went to the new one that opened in Planation walk. If this was my first time eating at Carrot express I'd probably never go back. First the cashier could hardly speak English, all of our food tasted nothing like we have had at other locations. I'll start with my Asai bowl. It was awful, definitely premade and not fresh, so frozen that I could hardly eat it. I also ordered a turkey burger bowl to go and it was clearly over cooked with no flavor. My daughter had the salad with the tuna and she said it was also terrible. Sadly for them as a new establishment, they need a lot of help. I'd wait until they get things under control.
