From the second you rock into Sean Hanleys old school set-up and are greeted by Anne you know you've come to the right place. Why? Because you can trust them. They do a great job, don't charge an arm and a leg and don't try and give you the run around. Have used them for three different model of cars, have always been happy with the end product and see no reason to go anywhere else.

He would not let the car leave his garage until he was 100% sure it was resolved. For the amount of time he spent on the car the price was very reasonable considering he had to fix a botched job from another 'Auto electrician'. He is an honest, decent guy, professional, and really good at his job. I would highly recommend.

Got a roofing nail in our rental car tire. Called road side assist and they said put the spare on…read moreand drive to a repair shop and they would reimburse for the charge. As luck would have it a very nice older gentleman happen to see me putting on the spare and stopped to chat. He said that was the second one he'd seen that morning. He said there were two tyre shops in Kinsale but one was closed for the week. He suggested Dempsey's. The shop was easy to find and right on the main road out of Kinsale. We were in and out in what honestly felt like 10 minutes and the charge was small enough I didn't even bother to ask for a receipt to give the rental company. Dan was great too. Asked where we were headed and gave us tips on where to go and what to avoid. If you're in the Kinsale area and have car trouble absolutely give Dempsey's your business.

I recently had my car in for a power steering leak. They checked and confirmed it was coming from 3…read moreareas but fixable, just parts needed to be ordered. Price 500 euro. I agreed and gave the go ahead. Parts arrived and car booked in a second time for a full day to do the job. I got a call later in the day to tell me job complete and fixed. Car can be collected. No leak seals changed job done. I paid remaining balance and when I got home looked under car and frame was still wet and oily. I thought maybe residue from doing the job. Ran it through nct, failed again on leak. Brought car back a 3rd time to be checked. They kept car for the day and was told now leak is coming from somewhere else. May not be fixable. No come back on money paid as leak Also from seals. Bottom line issue not fixed after bei g told it was and out of pocket over 400 euro. Also a scraping noise coming from steering. I think they misdiagnosed the issue and refused to offer any further help after I had paid. Leak as bad as ever after job was done and a new scraping noise on my 3rd visit. I have since had leak fixed by another mechanic who I wish I had taken it to first day. Passed nct just had to pay a second mechanic again to fix issue. I get power steering leaks or any leaks can be tricky. Just don't tell a customer it's fixed when it clearly isn't, charge them and then refuse any refund or comeback on money they paid for something that's not fixed.

Worse was they filled it with air and offered to fitted it knowing that they had not repaired it. I left premises with what I thought was repaired tyre and had to change it for spare on motorway later. Mad.
