When I go abroad, I make it a point to visit the local markets or supermarkets. Carrefour is big outside of the US. It's a bit like Target, with low price points and basically they carry all that you need. This Carrefour is extremely busy, I'm not sure why. The checkout lines had about 50 people ahead of me, but the lines move quickly. Like many Euro markets, you have to pay for a bag or bring your own. Whether you're shopping for groceries or gifts for your friend and family back home, Carrefour is a must visit no matter what! read more
