After I had expressed interest in a particular lamp, he showed me others that were available, told me about acquiring a BHS card (which I did) with the result that I bought the two lamps at an amazingly good price. I could not take them with me immediately but Sam promised me that when I returned about 45 minutes later he would bring them down to the car for me. Which he did - quite a heavy box! He brought them out to the car for me and wished my husband and me a good day! What a star - BHS you have a treasure on your staff! Sonia Hamon, Jersey

Oh we really appreciated this grocery store and cafe. We only got a coffee in the cafe but I…read morebelieve there is a menu. And the cafe itself is pretty and the lady that waited on us was sweet. We found what we needed in the grocery store and thensome. Even some souvenirs to take home as gifts. Soaps and products made in France. The store is well stocked, clean and the staff helpful (Ou est le sucre, sil vous plait?) We were in town a few days so we shopped Carrefour twice. Felt at home. And the checkers were charming. Love that they get a chair and don't have to stand but be off their feet. Once though, my checker had to run back to correct my bananas. I missed a sticker or something, idk. But she was kind about it.
