At this Carrefour, which is deceptively deep, I found a great bakery rack with baguettes and amazingly, a tub of taramasalata (a Greek spread made with roe) and some cheese. While it made a huge mess of the hotel room, it was perfectly delicious and satisfying. Wine (some chilled), some produce, canned goods, ready-to-heat foods, juices, meats, cheese, frozen meals. While maybe you couldn't do a full home shop here, you can definitely get enough for your hotel room or your apartment. Prices seemed decent but I wasn't checking that closely. The prices actually aren't that bad, about what you pay at the grocery store, or a bit more for the extra quality but not super premium. You should go here before you go to Carrefour.

Venant d'arriver d'Allemagne et habitué aux prix discount chez Lidl et Edeka, j'ai failli tomber à…read morela renverse quand j'ai découvert les prix incroyablement gonflés chez Auchan à Strasbourg. Des articles abordables à quelques kilomètres de là, en Allemagne, sont vendus à Illkirch-Graffenstaden à des prix qui frôlent l'usure. Pour couronner le tout, hier, j'ai essayé de scanner mon ticket de caisse pour ouvrir la barrière de sortie. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois sans succès. Au lieu de m'aider, l'imbécile de gardien de sécurité a pris mon TICKET DE CAISSE et s'est mis à le brandir dans la zone des caisses pendant cinq minutes. Complètement perturbé, j'ai engueulé ce petit idiot et lui ai dit que je ne reviendrais pas dans ce magasin arnaqueur aux prix exorbitants, d'autant plus qu'il m'avait traité comme un crétin de 5 ans. Je fais désormais plusieurs kilomètres pour passer la frontière allemande et faire mes courses à des prix beaucoup plus raisonnables et abordables chez Aldi, Lidl, Edeka et/ou Netto à Kehl. Adieu Auchan!!!
