Terrible! My father spent 2000 pounds on a carpet so my mother wouldn't have to worry about it when he died. Two days after it was fitted they noticed various faults. They contacted the store and they sent someone to look, who said it was faulty. After 3 weeks my parents heard nothing, so they called again and the store manager had left the store and a new manager was now employed who new nothing of the complaint. So it all started over again. They visited again, and yes there was a fault. But they would only replace the carpet on the stairs?? And their manufacturer told my parents to WASH the carpet with a VAX!! If they had done, they would've blamed the state of the carpet on them. The whole carpet was faulty. Fibres coming out, the brush of the carpet was in all different directions, and it was bobbling after 2 days! So why just the stairs Since then, my father died, knowing that my mother would still have a fight on her hands with carpetright, which is still ongoing. Independant carpet inspectors are supposed to be visiting to see how bad it is, carpetright are supposed to contact them, but 5 days have passed and we haven't heard a thing. Would you pay 2000 pounds for a faulty item??? This saga has been going on since 26th December 2011. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! read more
