In the past 2 years, Carpe Diem Studios has captured the special moments in my life... ~Engagement: (JUL/2014) - I clearly remember this day because we had the photoshoot scheduled early in the morning but it rained and so we had to cancel and reschedule. But Moses, being a true professional that he is, did not lose hope and he contacted us on that same day. We then met up at the same location later in the day and it turned out for the best because he was able to get some amazing shots with the sunset! ~Wedding: (AUG/2014) - As a bride on my wedding day there were a billion things running through my mind and the one thing that I knew that I did not have to worry about was my photographer because I knew that I was in good hands. Carpe Diem Studios definitely delivered high quality pictures that will surely last a lifetime! And as a special request, Moses was able to capture a "bird's eye view" shot of my husband and I along with our entire family, friends and guests (that was one of my favourite)! ~Maternity: (MAR/2015) - My first maternity photo session was indoor and Moses had neatly set-up his studio with a white backdrop which looked really nice in the photos. Also, since this photoshoot was indoor, I was comfortable in flaunting out my baby bump for some of the shots. I really liked how Moses was able to coordinate and replicate some of the sample poses and shots that I saw on Pinterest! (APR/2015) - My second maternity photo session was outdoors and the park that we chose was a new place to us. But Moses was very professional and arrived there an hour before us to look around the area so that he knew ahead of time where most of the shots can be taken! All the pictures turned out beautiful! ~Newborn: (JUN/2015) - My baby boy was only 10 days old and even though it was Moses' first time to do a newborn photoshoot, you will be surprised on how the final pictures turned out. It seemed as if he knew the perfect shot and angles and he surely captured the most precious shots of my little one! I had the pleasure to have Moses come take some photos for my real estate listings. Although, I knew he specializes in wedding photography and head shots, I thought I would ask him to try a new sector in the industry and he quickly accepted the challenge. Real estate photography could be challenging for a photographer, especially a photographer with an artistic eye such as Moses because it could be quite dull taking a picture of a room without a particular subject. Moses quickly adapted and listened to all my requests and executed them perfectly! He was prompt to the appointment and was fully prepared with an array of equipment to make sure he had what he needed to the take the appropriate photo. After the shoot, he sent me a couple photos to get my feedback or requests to edit and he quickly edited all of them and I had the finished product the next day. I was really pleased to how everything turned out, so I asked him to do it again for my next listing. Same excellent result! Moses specializes in weddings and headshots, so I actually referred him to a friend to do their wedding photography. Moses was fabulous. He was my wedding planner in a lot of ways as he set up the timetables for what was to happen at each stage of the event. At the usual stages of where a bride gets stressed or has concerns about the whole day in general, Moses was there and helped set my mind at ease. His replies to emails or texts were always reassuring and positive. I can't say enough about Moses' professionalism. On the day of the wedding he never faltered and always knew what was next - he was looking at his notes on his phone to ensure he wasn't missing a point. Moses had the day planned down the last minute and even though it was the windiest day of the year for our event, he knew what would work and what didn't and we didn't have to worry for one moment. Moses kept such a genuine, calm demeanour that allowed us (and our family and guests!) to really enjoy the whole experience. Moses is a real gem! My fiance and I recently had our engagement session as a part of our Wedding package and we are over the moon with the results. The photos are exactly what we were looking for and so much more. Moses really makes it easy to learn what styles you like by having pinterest boards you can post to. He really does his homework and makes sure you get the shots/style you like. He scouted our location to make sure we were fast and efficient but also made the most out of each area we wanted to use. I usually hate being in front of the camera but Moses really made me feel at ease and comfortable. We can be totally awkward and he really knew how to get the candid shots out of us. One very important thing to me is communication! Moses has been nothing but wonderful at staying in contact with me whenever necessary. He is definitely willing to go the extra mile. I hired Carpe Diem Studios for a surprise proposal photo shoot. I dealt with Moses who is such a nice person and very professional. He helped me out to find a really beautiful location to do the photo shoot at. He actually went to the site a day before and marked out the exact spot to propose to my now fiancé. He actually marked it with black tape on the ground and chose the best spot so that he could capture the best shots for me. On the day of, he had gotten there way before us so he could be ready to capture all those moments with my fiancé and I. Working with Moses was such a pleasure. He made the whole experience so easy and took all the nerves away. The pictures turned out so amazing. They do exceptional work. We are so happy on how everything turned out.
