Stop here BEFORE you go into the Disney store and spend a weeks salary on Tshirts and Mickey ears. Honestly the $13 is so worth it. I mean not to have to hear all the crowd noise and to be able to ignore screaming kids and annoying husbands who say your spending too much ... PRICELESS.

There's almost always a line, but it moves fairly quickly, and honestly, it's part of the experience. You can watch the bakers adding the final, intricate touches to each dessert while you wait, which is really fun to see. They do offer a small selection of croissant sandwiches and specialty beverages, but for us, it's all about the desserts. From their signature creations to seasonal offerings, everything is visually stunning and (most of the time) absolutely delicious. That said, while most items are fresh and flavorful, we have experienced a few cakes that were a bit dry and seemed over baked. It's not the norm, but worth mentioning. Anyone else experience this? Yes, it's a little pricey--but it's Disney, and you're paying for both the quality and the experience. Overall, it's still one of our favorite stops every trip and well worth it if you're in the area.

The Pistachio Toffee Cookie was my favorite alongside the Banana Walnut! Heard the amazing hype about Gideons and I knew I had to make sure I get a stop to try this amazing, mysterious cookie spot in Disney Springs. Located near the Boat House and Irish Pub, you'll see this somewhat secretive building with a long line of people waiting outside. It may seem long but it actually goes by somewhat quick at around 15-20 min and it was well worth the wait. The inside reminds of the Haunted Mansion with the spooky decor and although they only serve cookies, cake, and coffee/drinks, they honed their craft down on excellent quality baked goods here. The cookies are just densely packed with ingredients, firm on the outside and soft doughy in the inside. 1-2 cookies is definitely enough to last a long while and the cake slices are more like 2-3 slices in a slice so be aware of their sizing here. Staff here were very friendly and welcoming here, and made sure you got exactly what you were looking for. I also got one of their cold brews and it was perfectly made and sweet. Cost was fine and comparing this place to Crumbles, Gideons was hands down much better in quality and pricing. I will definitely agree with the public sentiment for Gideon: A known staple for amazing cookies in Disney Springs, you have to visit here when you're in the area and leave here with a few cookies you will not regret!

It's a not so secrete "secret menu" that they heat up your cookie and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for $3 more. I picked the chocolate chip cookie for the hot cookie, it was loaded with chocolate chips, but it was too sweet for my taste. I got the pistachio toffee, cookies and cream, and blueberry cookie to go. The pistachio cookie was my favorite, not overly sweet, sweet and salty, and loaded with pistachio! They definitely don't skim on the ingredients. If Halloween is your kind of vibe, then you will like the decor of this cookie shop.

There's very few businesses that ever deserve one star reviews but what my group witnessed tonight…read moreat the adult easter egg hunt hosted by Candland Designs and their close partner WeddingWish was truly terrible. When we arrived 5 minutes before the start of the event and they were in full set up mode, I started to get worried. The stage was being set up, porta-potties were being delivered, and tents were being blown away. The cost was $35 per person, however there was no value given out. The flier states hunting after dark and strategic skills. We hunted eggs throw casually in a field and it wasn't close to dark out yet. We also were told the hunt would begin at 7:30 and it was completely over at 7:28. Our group of 3 collected 60+ eggs, much more then many groups as we egg hunt at various events every year. In those eggs was candy being devoured by ants, and a couple condoms. I've been to free events with more value. There were a few eggs that had lotto tickets and prizes but I seen nothing that qualified the entry price. There was also very little food options for the 2-3 hundred people that were there. Two food stalls bared qualifies the "food trucks" advertised. Many groups were very upset and I hope this event business goes back to cakes (which look lovely) and stays out of the event business.
